Most of you have probably heard about Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), however, did you know that it has been used for many hundreds, if not thousands of years. In fact, Hippocrates ( the father of medicine) used AVC back in around 400 B.C. for its health giving qualities.
Even today, many use it as a common household remedy. More and more people are becoming attuned to its amazing health benefits. AVC is something that Kyla and I highly recommend taking often, as it is not only a great remedy, but it is also a superb preventative.

Sesame (Sesamun indicum) is one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world, prized as an oilseed for at least 5,000 years. While it is beginning to regain favor due to its exceptionally high calcium and magnesium content, few realize it is also one of the most potent medicinal foods still commonly consumed today.
In fact, its history as a medicine goes back 3600 years to Egyptian times where it was listed in the scrolls of the Ebers as a favored medicine. Also, women in ancient Babylon were believed to use a mixture of honey and sesame seeds (havla) to prolong youth and beauty, and Roman soldiers ate the mixture for strength and energy.

By Adam Lanka - Waking Times
Prayer means many different things to many different people. It is something that is so pervasive in our lives that it permeates fully through our societies and cultures. All cultures and religious traditions have their own practices when it comes to prayer, but let us acknowledge the similar theme. People all over the world right now are praying, to influence their world and the universe in myriad ways. Contrary to many anti-aging pills and creams, avocados are extremely inexpensive and also quite a delicious addition to any seasonal meal. The best part, however, is that they are actually effective in fighting both again and bolstering your immune system to fight off disease — no expensive medical interventions required.
The powerful yet 100% natural effect has to do with how the oil from the fruit can combat free radicals, which have been linked to countless conditions including cancer and heart disease (as well as aging, and in many cases accelerated aging).
What’s most amazing about the antioxidants found in avocados is their ability to ‘deeply’ penetrate inside the body and actually enter the mitochondria, a tiny ‘powerhouse’ which actually turns food into energy inside your body. Your mitochondria are actually teeming with free radicals, which are assaulting the tiny energy assimilators on a daily basis.

Seven Ways to Be a Better Recycler
Apr 28th
By Courtney Craig - houselogic.com
Most Americans recycle — but there’s a right and a wrong way to recycle properly.
If you do just one thing to “live green” and care for the environment, chances are it’s recycling. About three-quarters of people in the U.S. recycle, and the EPA says that recycling “generates a host of financial, environmental, and social returns.”
What a lot of folks don’t know, however, is that it takes a little know-how to be a really good recycler. That’s because improper recycling can introduce impurities that gum up the recycling works.
The good news? It doesn’t take a whole lot of effort to be a smart recycler. Here are some great tips on how to be a top-notch recycler at your house:

Taking Monsanto to the People’s Court
Apr 27th
By Blair Braverman - wagingnonviolence.org
On April 21, approximately 100 people came to a courtroom in Iowa City to attend a mock trial called the Monsanto Hearings, the second of five such events scheduled nationwide. The trial was modeled after a preliminary hearing, an attempt to collect stories about harm caused by agribusiness giant Monsanto and determine if further public scrutiny is warranted.
The court’s five presiding judges — including a professor, a graduate student and an organic farmer — made no pretense of impartiality. “We are under no obligation to be even-handed,” they announced early on, “because in the court of public opinion, Monsanto is not even-handed. They have money for lobbyists, advertisements, corporate-funded research and media campaigns. The influence of this hearing, by contrast, depends on the power and truth of what is said.” The court, they explained, would not be considering legal violations, but rather violations of nature, ethics and human rights.

THE NUMBER NINE – The Cosmic Servant ànd Master of Heaven and Earth

In the Kabbalah letter-number conversion scheme of the Ancient Chaldeans the number 9 does not ‘figure’ in connection to the alphabet. However, the ultimate number ‘9’, proposed to be called ‘The Force’ has very special and unselfish characteristics by the fact that when the number 9 is added to another number, it does not change the basic nature of the original number. For example if 9 is added to the number 14 (1+4=5) we get 23 and 2+3 = 5 again. The number ‘216’(=6x6x6) which adds up to ‘9’ was in antiquity considered the Number of Creation. Furthermore, the number nine shows up everywhere in the workings of the Universe which may be exemplified by the following, not necessarily exhaustive, examples:

Stress Hormones Found To Make Cancer Resistant To Treatment
Apr 26th
By Sayer Ji - Wake Up World
There are many things that drive cancer. Poor diet, chemical and radiation exposures, and certain infections, figure prominently in the process. Stress, however, is a major contributing factor that is often completely overlooked.
New research, however, sheds light on just how critically important the physiological consequences of stress are on cancer cell progression.
Adrenaline Increases Cancer Malignancy
Published this month in the journal Cancer Genetics and Cytogenetics and entitled “Adrenaline induces chemoresistance in HT-29 colon adenocarcinoma cells,” researchers found that the stress hormone adrenaline induces multidrug resistance in colon cancer cells.1

20 Useful Lemon Tips
Apr 26th
By Michael Bloch - greenlivingtips.com
Lemons – a fruit with a wonderful fragrance, great in food and beverages, but also very handy for multiple purposes around the home!
Lemons have been cultivated by humans for over a thousand years. The fruit is mentioned in tenth century Arabic literature, but was probably first grown in Assam, India.
Lemons are high in vitamin C, have an anti-bacterial effect and are thought to possess antioxidant and anti-carcinogenic properties. The juice consists of about 5% acid, which also makes them useful for a variety of household purposes. Lemons and/or lemon juice are a popular addition in environmentally friendly cleaning applications.
Selecting and storing lemons
The best lemons are those that have smooth, oily skins and are heavy for their size. They should be bright yellow with no green tinges. Lemons will keep for up to a week at room temperature, two to three weeks refrigerated. Lemon zest (peel) can be frozen for months.

Organic sugar is marginally better for us than refined non-organic sugar but it is still sugar and thus has health risks. Sugar has been linked to: increased insulin levels, obesity, dental caries, diabetes, energy slumps, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, premature ageing, and sugar will also affect our immune system.
A common insecticide used in the growing of sugar cane crops is imidacloprid which is said to have a low to moderate toxicity “rating” from the manufacturers that created it. This is based on how it affects mammals and how easily it disperses in water and soiI. Imadicloprid has been stated to be one of the most toxic insecticides to bees and as such is said to be instrumental in the bee malady called Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). It is also stated, and this theory I tend to lean more toward, is that CCD stems from a multi-toxic effect caused by a combination of factors with imadacloprid and other insecticides playing a small part of a much bigger toxic picture. Pesticides, Herbicides, Fungicides, and other chemicals have never been tested for their cumulative or mixed properties.

We stand at the dawn of a miraculous new evolution.
Our planetary system is moving to a higher vibrational reality – one founded on unconditional love, joy and mutual respect for all life. The Soul of the Earth, a vastly more evolved being than ourselves is ascending.
What exactly does this mean? How does it effect you?
Here are some essential questions on Ascension which frequently get asked…
It is important to say I am not offering these views as absolute truth. They are my own interpretations from my own inner exploration. I offer them to encourage a deeper exploration of your own truth…

The Hierarchy of Healthicine
Apr 25th
Guest Writer for Wake Up World
What is health? What is healthiness?
There are a few definitions of health. Search anywhere for healthiness – and you will find yourself re-directed to ‘health’. What about Healthicine? Medicine is well defined, but no dictionary defines healthicine. A PhD of Health Sciences does not study health, nor science. Health Science is the study of ‘health administration’ – administration of hospitals and other centers for the sick. Healthicines are the arts and sciences of health and healthiness.
Why don’t we have a science of healthiness? Why are there no experts in healthicine? Spring is here, it’s time for some changes. It’s time to move health to the forefront. It’s time to wake up to healthicine. To put illness, behind and beneath healthiness and unhealthiness. When we explore the sciences of healthiness – we will see illness in a new light.
