“There’s nothing that we can’t cure, and I’ll keep you in my arms for sure. So don’t let nobody stop us, free spirits have to soar.” ~ Ziggy Marley

Ziggy Marley, accomplished reggae artist and son of legend Bob Marley, has said before that love is this generation’s form of rebellion. Some of you might know his song, “Love Is My Religion”, in which he explains that his newfound religion is love; self-love, love for mankind, love for the planet, etc.

His song inspired me to open up to true love; not the over-hyped and romanticized version of love we’re conditioned to think is all we have. There’s a much more real and more authentic form of love waiting for us to realize it exists, and the moment we open up to it will be the moment we discover the best form of rebellion.

A Brief History of the Rockefeller/Rothschild Empire

A Brief History of the Rockefeller/Rothschild Empire

“The real rulers in Washington are invisible, and exercise power from behind the scenes.” – Felix Frankfurter, Supreme Court Justice, 1952

‘Rockefeller’ and ‘Rothschild’ are two of the most common names discussed in the conscious community, and if you’re like me, all of the talk about them (and the so-called ‘elite’ families in general) has made you want to know more about what they’re doing and how they came to power.

In the interest of satiating curiosity, I’d like to look briefly at the history of the Rockefeller and Rothschild families and, in doing so, provide a glimpse of what these families did to become so powerful that they essentially own the government.

Openhearted Rebellion: The Foundation of Spiritual Revolution

Openhearted Rebellion: The Foundation of Spiritual Revolution

A New Kind of Revolution

A new kind of revolution is sweeping the world, and it’s driven by compassion and a sense of responsibility for leaving the planet in a better condition for future generations. It’s a revolution of love; a social/spiritual revolution we can all contribute to, and the best way to contribute is to do what you love.

This revolution is rooted in the understanding that changing the world starts with changing yourself and being there for those who need you, and in my opinion, holding the people in power accountable for their lies and deceptions is also an important part of it. But this kind of movement doesn’t require bloodshed. In fact, it does the opposite by bringing awareness to the atrocities committed in the name of war and the importance of moving in a different direction.

Stand Up for Cannabis – Stand Up for Freedom!

Stand Up for Cannabis – Stand Up for Freedom!

By Wes Annac

Marijuana legalization is long overdue.

It’s time to stop prosecuting innocent people for the possession of a plant that was clearly put here to help us; it’s basically the same as prosecuting someone for possessing tomatoes. Full of medicinal benefits and spiritual potential, cannabis is a crop that’s meant to be utilized and shared, and we have to stand up for it – and our freedom – if we want the law to change.

Legalization and decriminalization is happening at a decent pace, but we can’t wait around for the government to do it when they’re finally ready, or to do it on their corporate-serving terms. Until politicians know they can profit from it without exposing their hypocrisy in keeping it illegal, they’ll stall its legalization and tell us it’s because of their religious beliefs, the funding of terrorist organizations, or our children’s safety — all while imprisoning the innocent and making loads of money for the private prison industry.

Declassified Documents Disclose CIA Mind Control Programs

Declassified Documents Disclose CIA Mind Control Programs

Most people would probably laugh at the idea of government mind control programs, but as the declassified CIA documents we’ll examine here make clear, mind control programs are a real thing in which the U.S government took an active interest, dedicating national resources to their development.

I should warn that the information below is unsettling to say the least. It sheds light on a hypnosis-induced form of mind control that creates assassins and what you might call ‘super spies’ out of ordinary people — people who have no knowledge of what takes place or what they’re forced to do. It also sheds light on a power in the U.S. government so corrupted and evil that it has no problem tricking people into doing awful things that they would’ve never done or supported in their normal waking state. Assassinations, terrorism and ‘sexual favors’ are just a few of many things mind-controlled victims are forced to do.

Can Cannabis Enhance Our Spirituality?

Can Cannabis Enhance Our Spirituality?

By Wes Annac

You hear about psychedelics often in the ‘spiritual’ community. While most people are brought up to believe they’re harmful and should be avoided, some will tell you that they aren’t harmful at all, and that they’re beneficial for the spiritual seeker who wants to glimpse a higher consciousness.

The question of cannabis and spirituality is interesting. Spiritual pursuit draws in people with all kinds of different beliefs on its use, and some people even turn to spirituality to help them stay away from drugs. They embrace meditation and other spiritual practices to raise their vibration instead of getting high, and credit their spirituality for their sobriety. But for others, they say that natural psychedelics enhance their sense of spirituality and bring them closer to what every spiritual seeker seeks. Some are passionate about all of the psychedelics out there, others will tell you all about the power of cannabis/THC, psilocybin (magic) mushrooms, LSD, DMT (commonly used in the Ayahuasca brew), or salvia.

Be The Change – What World Do You Want to Live In?

Be The Change – What World Do You Want to Live In?

Most of us have an idea of the changes we want to see in the world, and our achievements would be unprecedented if we could get to a place in society where we could publicly strive for a better way of life. Not everyone’s interested in getting to this place or being recognized by society, but those who are interested have two goals in mind: waking people up and creating change. People in the conscious community don’t care about fame or fortune, and their mission to awaken the world is the main thing on their minds.

The point of everything we’re doing is to initiate change, be it inner or outer change. We want people to see that an inner spiritual revolution is not only possible but essential, because this would allow for the greatest revolution the world has ever seen. This won’t be a bloody revolution that ends in violence and death, and instead, it’ll be a revolution of the mind and heart. It’ll be motivated by love and spiritual awareness, and it’ll lead to a rediscovery of the social and spiritual truths that were hidden by the planetary elite.

5 Obstacles on the Spiritual Path

5 Obstacles on the Spiritual Path

By Wes Annac

Deciding we want to commit to the spiritual path is easy, but it can be harder to live up to our commitment. At the first sign of trouble, we could easily depart the path in favor of a lifestyle that doesn’t challenge us as much, but if we do, we’ll miss out on all of the incredible things the path has for us.

We’ll miss out on spiritual evolution and the wonders that come with it, and we’ll eventually realize we’ve taken a wrong turn. We might try to steer our ship in a more positive direction by then, but we would’ve been much further along the path if we hadn’t stopped in the first place.

I’d like to share five things that can distract us from the path, so we know what to look out for and what can hurt us.

5 Attachments to Release on the Path of Enlightenment

5 Attachments to Release on the Path of Enlightenment

By Wes Annac

Guest Writer for Wake Up World

You probably don’t need me to tell you that spirituality isn’t all about feeling positive or uplifted. The enlightenment path requires us to sacrifice things that hold us back and keep us from making spiritual progress, and maybe this is where the literal notion of religious sacrifice first originated; from the external and even internal sacrifices we have to make on the enlightenment path.

Why do we have to make sacrifices on the spiritual path? Because there are a lot of things here on Earth that stop us from making genuine progress toward enlightenment, so we are best to release or avoid these things if we want to elevate our consciousness and contribute to the awakening of others.

Addiction and The New Activism

Addiction and The New Activism

By Wes Annac & Loral Emery-Lamere

A new form of activism is emerging, and it isn’t coming from the younger generations who are fed up with the the system. This new activism is coming from people you might not expect: concerned parents who have either lost their children to drug addiction or know someone who has.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that synthetic drugs like meth, cocaine and heroin are bad for you, but I don’t think people realize how much of a rampant epidemic drug addiction has become.

Most people are comfortable being complacent, and it’s easy to ignore social issues like drug addiction when we aren’t directly confronted by them. Unfortunately, more and more people (and families) are being confronted, and many of them have been inspired to take action.

Relative and Non-Relative Consciousness

Relative and Non-Relative Consciousness

25th April 2015

Guest Writer for Wake Up World

Through all of the distractions and pressures that come with living on earth today, many of us struggle to tap into the innate essence that we require to elevate our consciousness and live up to our spiritual potential. But just because we haven’t tapped into it yet doesn’t mean that all hope is lost.

We have more potential and greater perceptions to explore than we realize. Beyond our surface consciousness exists an infinite reality of love, bliss and pure awareness. But, if we want to find it, we have to be willing to transcend the constant mental chatter that vies for our attention, and learn to quiet the cloudy thought-forms that keep us from connecting with spirit and from enjoying the bliss it creates.

So, if we want to connect with our omnipotent inner consciousness, we should routinely clear our minds – something that gets easier with meditation and dedication. Everything gets easier with dedicated practice, and this includes the transcendence of our surface consciousness and the exploration of the much deeper existence we can now tap into.

Keeping The Seven Chakras Healthy

Keeping The Seven Chakras Healthy

By Wes Annac

Guest Writer for Wake Up World

Chakras are literally the body’s etheric energy centers that bring through and interpret the creative energy of the higher realms, and we unknowingly use the energy that comes through them to create/sustain our reality and keep our bodies physically healthy.

Keeping our chakras healthy is as important as keeping our physical bodies healthy, and as our collective vibration continues to rise, more people will become aware of the chakras, and the necessity to treat them respectfully and maintain a strong, clear connection to the energy they bring through.

We can’t treat something correctly, however, if we don’t know it exists, and most of humanity still has a lot to learn about the spiritual nature of our existence, including our chakras. So here I’ll discuss each chakra and give a few accompanying paragraphs about what we can do to keep it healthy and flowing.
