In my practice, I see how important planning is. No goal, no plan, no action, no result. When we have a focus, an honest intent, passion and direction, nothing can stop us.
I also see a difference between planning and being too rigid; by that I mean, a plan that comes from the desire to create and follow through needs to be firm. BUT, it also needs to leave you the space that YOU need to feel empowered by it, not imprisoned.
All depending on how well you follow through, the plan needs to reflect YOUR strength AND weakness. We all have them. We all have “stuff” we don’t like to do, and activities which we love. The key is to push ourselves, to build focus-muscle, and at the same time feel that empowerment. The goal is your key, so spend some time finding yours. What are you aiming for? What do you want to see change? Think big. This is not the time to play small. No grandness was ever created from feeling inferior or less than.

Here are a few tips to remember when setting a goal:
Remember your WHY:
This is where the GOLD is. This is what is going to keep you going when things get rough. Remembering why you are doing what you are doing, is self-motivation at a high level. YOU are the only one with your exact why.
Be mentally prepared:
Spend time getting ready in your mind. Ditch the insecure thoughts. YES, you will DO it this time.
Be physically prepared:
No excuses are so colorful as those that come from not being prepared. Not having the right food available, the time, the money etc. This is no longer valid. Preparing is mandatory.
You are not a victim:
The goal, the follow-through plan, none of it is a chore. It is not a punishment. It is a gift and an opportunity to heal and thrive.
The winner takes it all:
What separates a winner from one that doesn’t reach his or her goal is diligence and persistence. You need to know them both well. Together with patience and trust, they are responsible for your future.
The art of allowing amazing health comes from believing, planning, following through and being willing to receive.
Practice #1: Write Down Your WHY.
Find your journal and your quiet space and reserve it for a whole hour. Turn of the phone, lock the door and focus on this very important part of attracting HEALTH into your life.
This exercise will set the stage for your week and also hopefully shed some light on your journey in general. Our whole lives are a part of the same journey, not just the more awakened one. We are closely connected with how we see our life and world, to the point where it controls us. Our entire focus. Let this be your time to really dig deep into where you are, where you want to go, and why you are here, right this moment.
Sit in silence and write your WHY story. All of it. Let the hand do the talking, not the mind.
Here is how you do it:
Breathe deeply three times and think back to when your life no longer had all the components of happy in it. Start there. Write about what happened, that lead you to where you are. let your story flow. After you have written down everything that you can think of that has anything to do with your current situation. save it. Keep it safe for later.
- I deserve amazing health.
- I want to be able to dance at my son’s wedding.
- I will live anxiety free and feel safe and happy.
- I want to travel to The Amazon and walk for 12 hours straight without feeling weak or in pain
- I want to write a book.
- I want to win the Olympics.
It doesn’t matter what it is, but it has to be HUGE to you.
It has to have something worth fighting for. Something worth allowing HEALTH for, on all levels.
The subconscious mind can be reprogrammed, and every single day, it is. By the way that we live and think, we are telling our inner being what we really believe in. By walking in the direction of change, and at the same time changing our conscious thoughts, we are slowly but steadily changing from within. This is the only way true change will ever happen.
You are worthy, and you are ready. This is the time to fearlessly let it all go, all of what has been holding you back. It does not matter if it’s the fear of change, the fear of not being able to have pizza or coffee, or if it’s the fear of getting well itself. You better get ready, because you have officially been poked. You have been called, this is your time to roll. Go get it!
“Never let the fear of change stop you from doing anything. Change is inevitable, and only when we become fearless, life becomes limitless.” – Hilde Larsen
Practice #2: Create a Vision Board.
I want you to get a board, scissors, a marker, some tape or glue if you need it, 1 hour of your time and your favorite magazines. You can also do a search on the Internet for the images that you need. You will need a table to work on, or simply use the floor.
Besides it being a fun activity, it will help you attract amazing health. How? By simply putting you in alignment with what you want and desire. Make sure they are both from the heart. The law of attraction is a powerful law, and it rules either we know it or not. We attract what we feel, think about, believe and put our attention towards. This is why engaging in the making of a vision board AND looking at it every day is so powerful.
Have fun while doing YOURS:
- Find clips, picture, text that represents what you want to create in your life. It can be anything that aligns with your HEALTH goal.
- Use colorful pictures.
- Draw little personal notes if you wish.
- Fill the board edge to edge.
- Hang it where you will see it every single day.
Every time you look at your vision board I want you to smile inside and feel what your life will be like when you reach this part of the journey. I want you to feel the blue sky in your photo, the wind in your hair, and really work on being in that exact zone or spot. Attracting amazing health starts with a why, and relies on the ability to visualize and believe. Have faith in the process, in your body, your Coach, your own ability to choose what is right for you, and FLOW.
Practice #3: Schedule Everything.
Let’s talk about scheduling and budgeting. For some, this is absolutely the number one release of allowing and following through. You are already clear on your WHY, you have made your vision board and am visualizing your amazing healthy fabulous life. Spend a few minutes several times a day looking at your beautiful board. Also, spend a few minutes several times a day and focus on your Why, your goal, your purpose for changing and growing.
NOW it’s time to schedule everything! Yes, everything.
I am challenging you to make sure no self-sabotage sneaks its way into your goal and new diligent lifestyle. I am tightening all loose ends. Making a budget will be a loose end for some of you.
Take a stroll around your local markets, supermarkets, wherever you buy your awesome vegan healthy food. Write down a weekly and monthly budget for absolutely everything you need to stay on point.
An example list:
- Fruit and vegetables
- Drinks
- Massage
- Coach
- Online Program
- Herbs
- Essential oils
- Reflexology
Put down everything that is your HEALTH-GOAL specific. That has to do with your new plan.
[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”110030″]
Now, the schedule:
To schedule is to commit. Once it is down on paper, or in your electronic calendar it is marked as half done. It is market as final, and important. Schedule your ME time, your massages, other body therapies, all your social, and even your shopping. That way you do not end up over booking, ditching yourself first. If you are going to attend a party, schedule to bring your own food if that is required to stay on your diet plan. Schedule your meditations, your walks, your shopping. You will be amazed at how much extra time you will discover.
Valuable time to stay in the now, to play and rest. Two very valuable tools for healing. Allowing rest and play.
- During rest, we are able to listen within.
- During rest, we regenerate.
- During play we are allowing creativity and our passions to come forth. Strong driving forces in health on all levels.
- During play, we are more present, in the now moment.
Attracting health is an inside job, and it requires for you to stay focused and true. Walk your talk. The simple tasks this day are powerful beyond. Why? Because you are holding the power of intent close.
The power of intent:
When you are planning your day and week, you are holding an intent. It is a focus, an energy that is allowing your desires to come in. Like a whisper, you are saying:” Hey, this way, I am right here”. By writing down your goal, making your vision board, scheduling it all, budgeting, you are simply ordering that which you want.
You are opening the door to more that will lead you in the right direction. Schedule boldly your future plans. The trip you always wanted, or the creations you will make. See it in your life, and most importantly NEVER doubt that you will achieve it. That you will attract it.
Upgrade your powers:
Give yourself a reason to bloom and prosper through recognizing where you are and why.
Gift yourself with the space you need to do what you have to do to get the life that you deserve. The past is what it is, the now is in your hands, and the future is a result of this very moment. Of every moment. Start by conditioning yourself for success through realizing that you hold the power. Don’t look back unless you are going that way and realize that every person you meet is your teacher. Like every experience is, every encounter is also. Use it to grow, not to blame. Instead of looking for faults and shortcomings, look for opportunities and growth. Look for smiles, and you will recognize them everywhere.
Practice #4: De-clutter.
You will be amazed at how clutter can come between you and a clear and focused mind. It’s like a sour tone, an itch. The energy that sucks energy. Clutter is also an energy of not being grateful or allowing more to come in. Where would we put it? When I say simplify, I mean simplify. When I say de-clutter, I mean just that. Not in one area of your life, but in all of them. Time to free some space on that life-hard drive. Time to dust off that old energy not needed, to make room for the new.
Everything we draw into our lives, be it a physical thing, a thought or a person, we are storing it, carrying it and being affected by the meaning we have given it. Our old beliefs might tell us that giving something away when we no longer need it, is not a good thing. We might need it later. There might be famine, we might end up in lack, therefore holding on, storing and cluttering our space is natural. It is needed. It is safety. It is our burden to carry. We are owned, by things.
Whenever you are battling between your emotions and your mind, your schedule and your time, you are held hostage by your own clutter.
Let’s look at some signs that you are full of shit, or that your spaces are. Clutter is a sign of congestion, obstruction, and stress. Outside chaos is a reflection of the inner status. The perfect motivator for action, and a great tool for stepping up to the true freedom.
The key to de cluttering is to simplify and organize.
De-clutter your mind to attract more HEALTH.
Everything starts with a thought, so let’s start by making space for some new ones. The mind is the root of all clutter. It has helped you create everything you see and live. It has been your best friend in all crimes, the good the bad and the ugly. Now, let’s put it to work, to declutter your whole life. Step by step, freeing you from unwanted and unneeded life-sucking energy and burdens.
First of all, you need to monitor your thoughts.
What are you thinking? Look around. Everything is a reflection of your inner terrain, both mentally and emotionally. Be mindful of your thoughts. Be observant of how you respond to situations and your own beliefs. You can only hold one thought at the time, so remember that a negative, or un-serving thought is occupying the space of a serving one.
The subconscious mind, constantly bragging away its mostly false beliefs, pared with your mental conscious blabbering, will create a clutter that can drive anybody off balance. Often referred to as the monkey brain, it goes on and one, like a non-stop train. Not leaving room for anything that the ongoing internal dialog. It might feel like a trap, or you might not even be aware that it is occupying your space. Not until you become more mindful and are able to observe your own thought and emotions.
The less you think, the more room is left for experiencing a new awareness. Feel, smell, hear and see more.
Today is de-clutter day:
- Observe and look around you. If you see something no longer needed, or that is simply lying around, tidy up, throw it away, sell it or donate it to someone.
- Mind your thoughts and replace any non-empowering ones with empowering visions. Remember to put your feelings into it. Embrace the new.
- Use your scheduling skills to plan how to get rid of any excess baggage you are carrying.
- Celebrate the less is more principle. Stretch when de-cluttering. Let go of more rather than less.
A great practice is to start throwing out three things every single day. It can be any small item like a pen that is no longer working, or single lost socks. You can find stuff lying around or go search in an old draw. It will keep you in the constant de cluttering mode, and it will keep things from piling up. Clear your calendar every now and then and put in “me” days. That way you will keep it from filling to the rind.
Clear your desk every day, and make sure everything you won has its own space. Be diligent and persistence. It goes such a long way. All great achievements require that magical combo. Together with pure intent and the right mindset, you are set for success.
“When space is cleared, and disturbing noises are stilled, expansion and growth have a place to thrive.” — Hilde Larsen
Step #5: Find Support.
This is a valuable lesson to learn when achieving anything. Being accountable to YOU is the ultimate goal, but sometimes we need some support along the way. Once you have your WHY clear, your goal, your vision you’re your schedule clear, tell someone. Today, tell a trusted positive loving friend or partner what you need from them for support.
Join a group of like-minded people for ongoing cheering. Spend time amongst like-minded brothers and sisters. Having someone in your corner is important. It can be life-saving, but I want to tell you this. YOU are and will always be your own best support. You are the only one you have been waiting for. To make the choices, the decisions, to be YOUR cheerleader.
YOU need to become the leader:
No one else is going to experience the effect of your choices. You hire, you fire.
You make the bed, you lay in it. Cause and effect.
There is true empowerment in knowing that nothing but yourself is needed to step out and up to living your optimal life experience. There is true freedom in knowing there is nothing outside of yourself that can have real control over any part of your life. To come to this realization will set the stage for the rest of your life, as every evolvement and growth starts with the acknowledgment of self-responsibility.
Allowing is saying YES to support and focus, and NO to anything that doesn’t feel good.
Lead by example:
In the process of allowing and attracting amazing health, the focus is YOU as the leader of YOU. Being the example for your every cell. For your habits and thoughts. It all starts with your love for self. How freely do you love yourself? Your life will show you. Health requires a free flow of energy, and any obstruction will slow you down.
What is an obstruction? Un-forgiveness, anger, fear, resistance and any belief that you are not magnificently good enough and worthy of optimal health. We are all leaders, of our cells and the effect of our actions and thoughts. Find an alley today.
Find YOU. Work the love muscle!
Step #6: Be of Service.
Being of service is like tuning in to the frequency of love and happiness. How can I serve? Now how can I please, expect something back or how can I help to feel better? Being of service simply means being open to having a higher purpose. To be a vehicle of love and compassion.
Attracting abundance and health is a free flow of your intentions, your focus, your actions and your emotions. Being of service opens our hearts and lets go of the clutter that is keeping us focused on what we do NOT want.
Today, revisit your journal and make two lists:
- Write down everything that you do for others, a good cause, a charity or organization. What are you getting back? Notice how you feel when writing this. What about siblings, a partner? What do you do for them? Is it fair, are they treating you the same way? Look for resistance.
- Write down what you would love to do for others. What you are compassionate about contributing to this world. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. On the contrary, simple is huge. A smile, a listening heart, a hug. It can be anything, but it MUST come from your heart.
Analyze:
- Are you giving from your heart or your mind?
- Are you serving and giving in joy or from feeling obligated?
- Do you feel you give too much and receive too little?
The power of this practice lies in the realization that only that from the heart brings healing to the soul. Attracting HEALTH comes from giving that which represents true love and abundance. We are all unique and all have amazing things to offer to this world.
Schedule one task every week that allows you to be or service. Allowing spirit to work through you.
Practice #7: Write Your Life Manifesto.
Write your own life manifesto. See: How to Write Your Life Manifesto, and Why It Will Change Your Life
This is a practice that will change your entire life. The process in itself is revealing, freeing and has a great learning curve. I recommend you write it on your computer. That way you can edit it and add to it as your life unfolds. It is work in progress, and a wonderful way to keep yourself on track. That being said; if you are willing to take the time of writing it with pen and paper, nothing is more powerful. The mind is even more receptive to the words, when they are strengthened by the signals from the physical writing.
I am a strong believer in pen and paper, however, sometimes it is not the most practical. You choose.
Read it as often as you like. Some read it every day, some looks at it every week, or every month. There is no right or wrong. It is your document, and only you can decide what you want it to compose of, how long it should be, or how many topics it should include.
I suggest you read it every day for 30 days, as that is how long it takes to change a habit.
Some like to make sure everything is included, in detail, and some simply wants some easy to read sentences that represents their future life and values. The most important step is to actually write one. To get started.
Keep is simple and clean. The intent is the most important, not the fancy words. Use words that give meaning to you. Find a quiet place, breathe deeply, and tap into your own quiet place. Write when you are in a good and hopeful place. Use positive words and phrases. This will be an uplifting document, made for you to further grow and manifest your dreams and values. It declares your vision. It let’s you tap into your dreams. Once you have written down the intent, you can always go back and take a second and a third look later. Poor it from your heart and try to bypass the brain. What is it really that you want this declaration of how you will live your life to read back at you. This is private if you so wish, and no one but you have to read it. Be direct and authentic.
I hope you have fun with these practices, and that they open the doorway to your amazing healthy life. Through changing your mindset and focus, you will change your physiology. Through empowering your mindset and outlook, you will love yourself deeper and embrace a healthier way of eating, living and focusing.
See you on the healthy side!
