Your host for this event, Lauren Walker, creator of Energy Medicine Yoga (EMYoga), can show you how to quell your inner noise and release and heal your fears and traumas so you can cultivate inner peace, joy, and resilience.
In this FREE one-hour workshop, Lauren will show you how balancing your energy systems using energy medicine, coupled with an easy, gentle form of yoga, can heal you on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level.
EMYoga — which combines energy medicine with a traditional yoga practice — can influence the trajectory of your body’s energy patterns to heal and increase vitality, while balancing your immune, hormonal, and nervous systems. In this event, an even more gentle form will be practiced — more in line with restorative yoga.
You’ll learn the power of tapping in to your quantum blueprint, which contains the very essence of you — your energy body that holds your perfect, true self — while bringing you into deep rest, deep clearing, and deep healing.
Lauren will lead you in a transformative practice where you’ll focus on clearing the enormity of stress you’re holding. You’ll open up your body, getting it settled and grounded with some simple movements.
To help you go even deeper, Lauren will add the power of tuning forks, the sound-therapy method employed by Shift faculty member Eileen McKusick, targeting its vibrational sounds to relax your nervous system, while clearing and resetting your adrenals and rebalancing the cortisol levels in your body.
You’ll have an opportunity to trace and tune your central and governing meridians — allowing your energy to flow freely around your core — helping to usher you into a state of deep calm, allowing you to rest and heal your body, mind, and spirit.
*Please note: This exercise will not include any difficult yoga poses and does not require being limber or having good balance. It’s a practice using a sound-healing tuning fork along with simple movements (that can be done seated, standing, or lying down). You’re invited to use your own tuning fork, if you have one — or you can just be enveloped by the vibrations that Lauren will create.
