Re-Attuned + Re-Aligned: Astrology Forecast March 10th – 17th, 2019

March 11th, 2019

As the world soul – the Anima Mundi- increasingly reveals itself through the cracking and dismantling of all our familiar support structures -global politics, economy, climate change- this current Mercury retrograde is simultaneously opening us up to the world beyond the world, to vast new possibilities, to our own inner resources.

At last Wednesday’s New Moon on limitless Neptune, Mercury turned retrograde on the Master degree of the zodiac- 30 degrees Pisces-the most karmic point, the alpha and omega, the Ouroborous of the dragon devouring his own tail. This is the most deeply watery and emotional retrograde since 2014 and the next two in 2019 will also be in Water signs. Symbolically and alchemically, water delivers emotional release, cleansing and then a renewal of life force.

Think back to the old 3D fatalistic labelling of Mercury retrograde as meaning simply delays, glitches and frustration. Then re-frame your old labels and blanket judgements. As the new 5D deep space planets have been discovered out in the Kuiper Belt and beyond, so our consciousness of the original Copernican planets has evolved.

In my Fire Starter Resource: Bringing Your Astrology into the 21st Century- 24 Quantum Astrology Memes, I outline how Mercury has evolved from 3D information/data gatherer to 5D cosmic wi-fi connecting us all to the Great Web.

The Chandra Symbol for Mercury Rx 25 Pisces

People and animals frightened of an eclipse
“Going deep and going far, yet emotionally afraid and bereft. Impelled by great force to carry on with your destiny. Being certain and being afraid. The exquisite gift of pulling yourself through the enactment of personal, collective, and ancestral nightmares. You feel a pull to what is coming into being on the expanded horizon and a warrior’s courage in always going back and grappling with the lingering shadows. A mission that cannot be refused. And a sense of purpose that defies its own collapse and rises from the ashes repeatedly.”

So back to Now – Mercury will re-activate the degrees between 30-15 Pisces turning forward again on March 28th.On Tuesday March 11th, Mercury first squares the Galactic Centre, attuning us to our Homing Signal or Source, before conjuncting the Sun on Thursday March 14th.

Frame this grace period – electrified by Uranus activating Taurus the Tree of Life- as the time to upgrade to Three Principles / Inside Out /New Paradigm Thinking. The deeper Mind is always on 24/7, not only does it have your back, it’s part of who you are – when you lose sight of it it’s because you’ve gone back to thinking you have to handle this life thing on your own.

Now that shaman Chiron is activating the World Ascendant; Uranus in Taurus as Universal Mind exploding into Matter with the Saturn/ Pluto/ Node of Fate conjunction over lighting it all, doesn’t it make perfect sense to enter your brave new world with a Mind wipe and a conscious shift to new thinking?

Aries Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

This is definitely a week to step back, take stock and let your batteries re-charge. With not only the Sun but also Mercury retrograde in the engine room of your chart in watery Pisces, if you even attempt to push the river or follow linear goals, confusion and crossed wires will be the result. See it as a golden opportunity to nurture yourself without guilt -physically, emotionally and mentally. Create a sanctuary and keep it for activities that soothe your soul. You’ll be grateful you did at the Full Moon in Aries on April 20 when the Sun returns to start your personal New Year.

“For everything there is a time under heaven”

Taurus Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

With electric Uranus and action planet Mars now in your sign aligning with Pluto and Jupiter, your momentum for change should be unstoppable. Unless it’s taken you so much by surprise that you’ve panicked and tried to put a lid on it. Whether circumstances are shifting around you or you’re feeling an inner pressure to shake up your life, the planetary message couldn’t be clearer:” Time to wake up and smell the coffee!” With communication planet Mercury retrograde in your angle of people, friendships and alliances, take along hard look at the big picture and decide who drains you and who lifts your spirits. When you think of someone, just pay attention to your own signal for either a Big No or a Big Yes, then take it from there.

Building a support team and an ideas factory

Gemini Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

As a quick thinking Air sign, you might find this week’s climate of fog and confusion challenging. But forewarned is forearmed. Your personal ruler Mercury is retrograde at the pinnacle of your chart meeting the Sun on Thursday. This is a good time to take another look at your current blueprint to see if your map needs updating to take recent events into account, not to mention all the ways you’ve changed since you drew it up. Remember you have gift bringer Jupiter as an ally in your opposite sign, so no matter if it seems as if events are taking forever to unfold, know that behind the scenes it’s all in your highest interests.

All is well

Cancer Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

With such a range of planets aligning with the Node of Fate in your sign, it would be strange if you’re not making lifechanging decisions that you wouldn’t have imagined possible only a few weeks ago. Starting in November 2018 and ending in May 2020 the Node of Fate is making a once in 18 year return to Cancer and bringing wild card eclipses with it to shake up your life. Whatever began at the January 2019 solar eclipse is now playing out in your life. This week with Mercury retrograde in watery Pisces, do your travelling in your mind-not for real- and allow yourself to dream large.

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” Anais Nin

Leo Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

Refuse to let anyone dampen your zest for life this week. No matter what happens around you, it’s always your choice how to respond – no exceptions. With Venus in your angle of relationships- whether personal or professional, clients or partners- you are in the spotlight now, so squeeze the juice out of it by expanding your people landscape. Lighting the ignition in your career zone, unpredictable Uranus is blasting you out of your comfort zone, making you increasingly restless and showing you that not only has the cage door been open but, actually, there never was a cage.

Knowing who is for you and who needs to go

Virgo Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

With illusionist Neptune plus a Sun Mercury conjunction in your opposite sign, not to mention Mercury being retrograde until March 25th, see the next two weeks as a grace period, time out of time. This is the most deeply watery and emotional retrograde since 2014 and the next two in 2019 will also be in Water signs. Symbolically and alchemically, water delivers emotional release, cleansing and then a renewal of life force. Instead of trying to push the river, find creative ways to uplevel your communication skills, to develop the ability to have and maintain rapport with anyone. Listen rather than talk and pay attention to what’s not being said.

Inner alchemy

Libra Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

Frame the task for the next 10 days as wiping the slate clean ahead of the annual Full Moon in your sign at the Equinox on March 20th.This will be a definite shut down then reset bringing you some insights that will change your direction, making it totally counter-productive to push ahead now. Instead, take a long look at your world, noticing where, when and with whom you feel uplifted and where, when and with whom you feel drained. Then It’s time to get tough -make a list of 20 things in your life that you are tolerating or just putting up with – your habits, behaviour, other people’s behaviour, appearance, home, career etc. and take the first step to change or eliminate them.

Plugging the energy leaks

Scorpio Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

Even with Mercury, planet of communication travelling backwards, there is huge potential for growth in this planetary landscape. Mercury in Pisces is in a compatible Water sign with Scorpio, expanding your innate intuition and sensory acuity while Jupiter aligned with the Node of Fate in Cancer in your angle of resources, finances and self-worth is greenlighting the way ahead. Not only that, but relationships of all kinds -private or professional -are being boosted by unpredictable Uranus in your opposite sign. Stay open, confident and relaxed and don’t grab the first offer or opportunity that comes your way -there will be more.

The long game

Sagittarius Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

Of all the signs, you’re on a roll. Your personal ruler -gift bringer Jupiter- has your back in your own sign and this week is aligned with no fewer than 6 planets, including the life changing Node of Fate. Under these aspects, you can’t just sit back and wait for something to happen, you have to go out and shake things up. With Mercury currently travelling backwards with the Sun and slippery Neptune at the root of your chart, to go out and conquer the world you need a stable, solid base at home. There may be some crossed-wires or a delay in your family or partnership -don’t let it go, get to the root cause.

“Sometimes grace is a ribbon of mountain air that gets in through the cracks.”  Anne Lamott,

Capricorn Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

This watery, vague, confusing climate of Neptune, Sun and Mercury in limitless Pisces is usually not very comfortable for an earthy Capricorn. And yet, ever since your ruler Saturn excavated your defences throughout 2017, you are much more willing to take a view from the witness perch and let events unfold at their own time and own rhythm. And this is just such a time -to try to forge ahead would be counter-productive. Take the time between now and March 20th, when the Sun and Full Moon give you the green light to move forward, to look back over 2017/18 and contrast where you are now with where you were then. It might surprise you to realise how deep the inner shifts have been.

This is time out of time, not clock time

Aquarius Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

When the planetary climate turns watery, confusing and foggy, you often feel out of your element, unsure how to handle the sudden lack of clarity. And this week, it’s a deep dive as Mercury travelling retrograde meets the Sun in ultra-vague Pisces, creating the most watery and emotional retrograde since 2014. Symbolically and alchemically, water delivers emotional release, cleansing and then a renewal of life force. That’s what trying to come through in your own life by slowing you down, nudging you to go inwards and to feel your feelings as they arise. With Venus -planet of relating-lighting up your sign, you can turn difficult situations around or rekindle the ashes of a close partnership.

“Things may get a little odd at times, but they work out. You don’t have to try very hard to make them work out; you just let them.” The Tao of Pooh

Pisces Weekly Forecast: March 10 – 17, 2019

Not since 2014 has Mercury been retrograde in your own sign and not since 2014 has a retrograde been so emotional, confusing and disorientating. Even for you as a cardcarrying Neptune- ruled Piscean, too much water can be too much of a good thing -and so it seems at the moment. Take heart. On Thursday, Mercury merges with the Sun and you begin to see a new way forward. It might still be shrouded in mist but the first stepping stones appear. Frame the time between now and March 28th when Mercury turns forward again, as a grace period to revise a decision, update your plans and check your readiness to make a course correction.

There are two sorts of waiting- inactive and active. Choose activehappily preparing for what you trust is on its way to you.
