This June 21^st Solstice elemental turning point is amplified by a Solar eclipse at 0 Cancer delivering not only a change in the season but a seismic shift.  Every 19 years the eclipses fall on or very near the same degrees and sign placement and the last one at this exact degree was the eclipse that preceded 9/11. It’s flagging up one of those hinge points in history that in hindsight become Before and After markers in time and given that the US is now starting its first karmic Pluto Return since the Founding Fathers and this eclipse falls on the US Venus, the next 6 months will bring a series of jarring dislocations.

This is the 2^nd in a series of 3 eclipses and a coronal Solar Eclipse at 0 degrees Cancer World Axis in a potent Grand Cardinal Cross of light bridges, impacting any planets or points in your birth chart between 25 – 30 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces and 0 – 5 degrees of the Cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.

It is opposite the Galactic Centre – Source – denoting a time of strong karma and collective shifts. The South Node of Fate – what you must leave behind so you can grow – is conjunct the karmic Galactic Centre – so, ready or not, the political becomes personal with changes arriving right at your front door. Eclipses bring forward events or decisions that you assumed were months or years away. Plans change in a blink of an eye. There is a feeling of life moving very rapidly – it’s life on fast-forward accelerating towards the future.

The powerful geophysical shock window extends from the 14th – 28th June.  Sandwiched into the June 4 – July 22 Mercury Max cycle, this looks like a strong storm and seismic signal. The shadow moves across Africa, Asia and culminates in China. Those border conflicts between China and India and North and South Korea have the potential to escalate in the next 6 months.

The energy field is turbulent with Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto all retrograde; Neptune turning backwards on June 23^rd, Venus turning direct on June 25^th before Mars enters his own sign of Aries on June 27th, activating the sensitive World Axis. The warrior planet normally spends 6 weeks in each sign but will cross backwards and forwards through Aries until January 7^th 2021- 6 months instead of 6 weeks! Another reason to predict volatility on the world stage.

Cancer symbolises the homeland so the theme of belonging/not belonging is very strong. As the eclipse effect ripples through the next 6 months, expect stronger more insistent demands from the collective for true equality along with losses /crashes in housing and financial markets.

This 0 Cancer solar eclipse is an energy Influx on steroids, accelerating the process of changing consciousness and deleting the past in an instant. It is a reminder of impermanence – you “know” in your head that everything changes second by second but the sudden disappearance of the Light, the occulting, the overshadowing, the re-booting of what used to be your life, brings it home and make it starkly real. People leave, jobs end, passions fade, dreams disappear to make room for the new. If/when they do, let them go.

Don’t be too quick to pronounce an eclipse good or bad. All eclipses have a second act and this one is followed by a lunar eclipse on July 5^th.

Aries Weekly Forecast: June 21-28, 2020

Sunday’s New Moon eclipse right at the base of your chart has the potential to free you from some persistent issues you’ve been dealing with since childhood. It might be that someone leaves or someone from the past returns. It may take the form of a bout of nostalgia or homesickness. You might suddenly get bored with keeping yourself small just because someone years ago put a label round your neck. However it plays out, find the somatic emotional healing you need by releasing untruths about who you are, by being kind and gentle with yourself and by letting anything or anyone who needs to leave depart gracefully. As your personal planet Mars returns to Aries on Friday 27^th, to stay in your sign not for the usual 6 weeks but for 6 months(!) this will be a personal initiation into reclaiming your own life.

This is a time when everything is up for grabs and nothing is nailed down and, much to your surprise, you’re thriving on it. Sunday’s New Moon eclipse puts all your communications and connections on steroids. Events may change around you -someone may leave or a family member delivers exciting news, but the most important shift is in your thinking. This is a cosmic nudge to stop keeping yourself small and create a much larger world for yourself. On June 25^th, your personal planet Venus turns forward again in Gemini and you re-prioritise what’s worth doing, worth having or worth investing in. With awakener Uranus in Taurus cattle prodding you out of your old comfort zone, it’s time for you to access that innate sense of deep grounded spirituality and surprise us all with your insights, truths and ideas.

Sunday’s New Moon eclipse points to changes in your finances. This is the angle of earned income so events may re-arrange themselves around you creating a knock- on effect in your own life. You’ll definitely notice just how much your values have changed in the last 40 days of Venus being retrograde and start to re-align your priorities. One source of income may dry up and if it does, close the door gracefully. Channel the potent eclipse energy into coming up with ideas for multiple income streams so that you are not investing everything into one single project. Don’t reject off the wall ideas out of hand-this is about experimenting not nailing down a step by step plan. Fortunately, on June 27^th, energy planet Mars moves into your angle of alliances, groups and goals to stay not for his usual 6 weeks but for 6 months! This means that there are going to be many gathering places-virtual or in real life-to showcase your services and get the word out.

The solar eclipse on Sunday ‘s Solstice marks a before and after moment for you personally as a solar Cancerian and also for the collective. Your sign is ruled by the Moon and eclipses are Sun/Moon shut downs and re-boots. This one is rare-a free “Pass Go” card from the cosmos to re-invent yourself as you were before other people told you who you should be. The liberating effect is doubled by Mars-planet of libido/life force- arriving at the pinnacle of your chart on June 27^th to stay for 6 months instead of the usual 6 weeks! It’s time to allow your talents, skills, qualities and life experience out to play and let them speak for themselves. For you as a Leo, Sunday’s Solstice eclipse is asking you to turn your attention inwards and to get right up to date with yourself. Frame it as an “ anything might happen and  probably will” moment and give yourself a free cosmic pass to experiment. Your creativity and productivity are at an all time high and it’s important to harness the energy rather than let it dissipate. Venus in your 10^th House of public visibility and influence has been updating your hopes and dreams over the last 6 weeks and now ‘s your chance to sit down and re-prioritise your plans and projects. Something is coming to a definite end. The New Moon Solar eclipse right on the Solstice gateway on June 21^st is major pause then reboot of your career angle. Don’t expect instant clarity as not only is Neptune turning retrograde but your personal planet Venus is also changing direction, turning forward again. Not to mention planet of libido/life force Mars entering your opposite sign of Aries to stay for an entire 6 months. Mercury’s retrograde is clouding issues and creating communication glitches. Relationships of all kinds will be feistier than usual, challenging you to re-think your approach and to find better ways of influencing others by building rapport. If your personal partnership has lost its spark, now’s the time to re-kindle the flames. The key issue in both your personal and your professional life is about setting and maintaining stronger boundaries.

The Solstice New Moon eclipse is going to be one for the memory books for everyone on the planet when anything could happen. For you, it fast forwards something connected with your finances, your resources and your assets, probably those held with someone else. If you thought you had time to budget or plan, too late. It’s also an ending and new beginning of some sort where your security is concerned. You could be moving home or saving for the first time or building a pension. Keep in mind that Mercury is retrograde in this same part of your life and double and triple check the bottom line. Be alert for fake transactions or scammers. Happily, Venus turns forward again on June 25^th, allowing you to re-kindle your closest relationship after 6 weeks of challenge or strain.

Capricorn Weekly Forecast: June 21-28, 2020

Things are going to change at lightning speed this week, Capricorn, as a rare New Moon eclipse on the Solstice pauses then re-boots relationships of all kinds. Remind yourself that the ball is in the other person’s court-whether personally or professionally-and take a conciliatory approach. On June 27^th, warrior Mars enters fiery Aries your angle of family, roots and home for an unprecedented 6 month stay! Expect some clashes but sidestep all out warfare. With Mercury retrograde in Cancer with the wild card eclipse, communications are ripe for glitches, crossed wires and misunderstandings. Keep in mind that the 3^rd pass of Jupiter/Pluto in Capricorn is only 9 days away and that’s when you can restore the balance of power.

Aquarius Weekly Forecast: June 21-28, 2020

All eclipses are unpredictable cosmic wild cards bringing change out of the blue and the Solstice eclipse on Sunday 21^st is on steroids. Emotions will be running high all this week and into next, so tread extra sensitively with other people’s feelings. Keep irritability, impatience or anger in check from June 27^th when warrior Mars moves into Aries and fires up your communication zone. You may think you’re making a reasonable request but it may feel like more like a demand. The eclipse pause button followed by a re-boot is happening in your 6^th House of wellbeing and daily routines. Now is the time to schedule a health check up, to permanently drop toxic habits and to make your emotional wellbeing your main priority. Keep in mind that Mercury is retrograde, so if an old ailment or physical condition flares up again, deal with it as quickly as possible.

Break free from old unhelpful habits that have crystallised into stone.

Pisces Weekly Forecast: June 21-28, 2020

A rare New Moon eclipse right on the June 21^st Solstice is going to prove a game changer for just about everyone in the coming 6 months and that includes you. Fortunately, it’s at a kind angle to your Sun and also in compatible Water sign Cancer. Not so fortunately, Messenger Mercury happens to be retrograde also in this part of your chart. Then factor in Venus turning forward on June 25^th and Mars entering Aries on the 27^th to understand just how transformative this passage will be. For you, changes will manifest in connection with your home and family and also your creativity and self-expression. Something is coming to an end and something new is beginning.
