All this week we are in the volatile seismic field between two eclipses on the Taurus/Scorpio axis- April 30 and May 16^th– as Mercury slows to turn retrograde in Gemini on May 10^th, travelling back through Taurus until June 3rd. With Uranus, Sun and Mercury Rx in the money sign of Taurus, anything to do with global and national economies, the value of gold,the property markets as well as your personal security will be fluctuating wildly. This whole period extends into June 2022 with Venus in Taurus.

Ceres enters Cancer which rules the property market on May 16th 2022, exactly on the day of that eclipse in the finance signs. Buyer beware…..this is a cover-up or blind spot for all of us, because an eclipse always conceals; it never reveals. Nothing is as it seems so this is definitely not the time to splurge, splash the cash or make a big purchase.

Given that on Tuesday May 10^th gas giant Jupiter enters gung-ho Aries for the first time since 2010/11, making you much more inclined to take risks or make a big leap of faith, tread extra carefully. Hopefully there will be some timely reality checks on May 15^th just before the Scorpio lunar eclipse when the Lights square Saturn.

Aries Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

It quite literally a big week for you as gas giant Jupiter returns to Aries for the first time since 2011/12, delivering a blast of faith, hope and optimism. This is pioneering, entrepreneurial energy, so make the very most of it as Jupiter expands your ambitions and your reach until the end of October. That said, with this transit, it’s easy to become over confident and take one risk too many-make sure you have a reliable sounding board. Since Mercury, planet of business, turns backwards on the same day until June 3^rd and will be in your angle of income most of that time, contracts and negotiations will not be straightforward.

Remember to engage your head as well as your heart.

Taurus Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

For you as a Taurean, change is not an option but a given. You’re in the midst of a huge growth spurt and all you can do is hang on for the ride. In this week between 2 eclipses involving your sign, when the Sun meets the karmic Node of Fate in Taurus, challenge your habitual ways of doing things and leave your comfort zone/rut behind. As Jupiter moves into your 12^th House on Tuesday May 10^th until October, notice which old dreams or ambitions have lost their juice and leave them behind so new ones can grow. On the same day, Mercury turns backwards until June 3^rd spending most of that time in Taurus. This the time for an inner and outer make- over/ do over to match your outsides to your insides.

The lunar eclipse on May 16^th in Scorpio will remove dead wood from your life.

Gemini Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

We’re bang in the middle of eclipse season when people and situations can change in the blink of an eye. Adding to the flux and uncertainty, your own planet Mercury slows to turn retrograde on Tuesday May 10^th in Gemini before travelling back through Taurus. Have a think about what needs updating…… your appearance? your communication platforms? your willingness to get involved? Gas giant Jupiter moves off the top of your chart on the same day into your 11^th House of friends, groups and networks. That’s where the greatest opportunities are to expand your horizons, so get out and about.

It’s not what you know, but who you know.

Cancer Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

You have some supportive planetary help at the moment. Venus is crossing the top of your chart, boosting your career or reputation between May 2-28^th, as Jupiter returns to Aries for the first time in 12 years, expanding the same part of your chart right through until October. To get the very most from these aspects, don’t wait to be noticed but step up and claim what’s yours. Make a case for a bonus or promotion, challenge the competition, apply for a Masters degree…..whatever has your name on it. Keep in mind that this is wild card eclipse season affecting Moon -ruled Cancerian sensitivities more than most. Sleep it off, sweat it out, or scrub it away in a ritual bath.

Whatever comes up around these times, be endlessly patient and loving with yourself.

Leo Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

This week, you’re between the two wild card eclipses of April 30^th and May 16^th, which are shaking up and shaking down both your career and your home life. It’s far too early to make sense of what’s happening, so wait until after the dust has settled before making any big decisions. This is all the more important as Mercury slows to turn retrograde on Tuesday May 10^th until June 3^rd, crossing the wires of communications and transactions. On the same day, Jupiter returns to fellow Fire sign Aries for the first time in 12 years, boosting your desire to travel and expand your horizons until October. Anything connected with publishing, teaching, studying or law is very well starred.

Around May 14-17^th, watch for some sort of block to be permanently removed.

Virgo Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

Be aware that all week we’re in a volatile seismic field between two eclipses and cut yourself some slack. All the more important as your personal planet Mercury slows to turn retrograde on May 10^th until June 3^rd right at the top of your chart. Frame this as an opportunity to backtrack on or to re-assess your career goals. Is your ladder up against the right tree? You might need to rework your marketing materials before a relaunch in early June. Also on May 10^th, Jupiter returns to Aries for the first time in 12 years, affecting and hopefully expanding both your finances and close relationships. Given that Venus is here as well, avoid the urge to throw money at a problem and get to the root of it instead.

Make sure you take some quiet time for yourself ahead of the May 16^th Scorpio eclipse.

Libra Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

Something big this way comes…..gas giant Jupiter crosses into your opposite sign of Aries on May 10^th for the first time in 12 years to give your one to one relationships a boost until October. It looks as if the ball is firmly in your partner’s court. On the same day, Mercury slows to turn retrograde in early Gemini before reversing back into Taurus until June 3^rd.All this is happening in the volatile seismic field of the approaching Scorpio lunar eclipse on May 16^th which is going to shake up your finances. As situations change around you, one source of income might disappear and with Saturn at odds with the eclipse, some sort of reality check looks likely. The dust won’t settle for a while so hold off of any big decisions until the end of May.

Create some new income streams to become self-supporting.

Scorpio Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

As a solar Scorpio, your sign is affected more than most by the approaching total lunar eclipse at 25 Scorpio on May 16^th.Think back to May 2003-the last time this happened- for patterns or clues. This time around, the eclipse is at odds with Saturn at the roots of your chart, so changes and reality checks connected with home, family and tribe are on the cards. This theme will continue in October/November and on until late 2023.These celestial wild cards operate by suddenly changing situations around you, out of your control, with a knock-on impact on you. Doors close permanently while others appear where there were none before. There’s more, on May 10^th, Mercury turns retrograde until June 3^rd in your 8^th House of life’s big issues-sex, death and taxes.

Whatever comes up around these times, be endlessly patient and loving with yourself. That’s the only way to ride it out.

Sagittarius Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

It’s going to be a big week and big month for just about every sign but especially you as your personal planet Jupiter returns to fellow Fire sign Aries on May 10^th for the first time since 2010/11.Aries is your 5^th house of fun, romance, creativity and self-expression, so the period until October could be lucky for you in these areas. The approaching total lunar eclipse on May 16^th is in Scorpio, your  deep 12^th House, at odds with Saturn. Take a step back between May14-18^th, get extra rest and if health issues flare up, have them checked out. With Mercury retrograde from May 10^th to June 3^rd, monitor all your communication platforms for glitches, crossed wires or misunderstandings.

Nothing is going to be cut and dried until after the eclipse dust has settled.

Capricorn Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

This week, you are in the seismic field of the approaching total lunar eclipse in Scorpio on May 16^th.It falls in your 9^th House of your chart at odds with your own planet Saturn in your income zone. Your life direction, your goals and your finances are in the frame as this eclipse cycle continues every 6 months through to late 2023. The last thing to do is to make any hard and fast decisions around the eclipse dates-wait until the dust has settled and you can see who or what has left/changed and can react less emotionally. This is extra important as Mercury turns retrograde on Tuesday May 10^th until June 3^rd, making communication glitches likely.

Aquarius Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

This week, you are between two volatile eclipses affecting your home and your career, so expect to have to adapt to sudden and unanticipated changes. The approaching total lunar eclipse on May 16^th is at the pinnacle of your chart, so think back to the last time this happened in May 2003 to find patterns or clues. It is at odds with realist Saturn in your sign, reminding you to think practically and refuse to let your emotions cloud your judgment. Given that Mercury is turning retrograde on May 10^th and, on the same day, Jupiter returns to your angle of connection in Aries, double check your communications-texts, social media posts, emails etc-to avoid misunderstandings. That said, it’s an excellent time to sit an exam, write a thesis or have something published.

Pisces Week Ahead: May 8-15, 2022

It’s a big week as you approach an emotional total lunar eclipse in fellow Water sign Scorpio, exact on May 16^th.With Mercury turning retrograde on Tuesday May 10^th until June 3^rd and Jupiter leaving Pisces for Aries on the same day, the skies are rocking and rolling. You are still feeling the expansion delivered by the wonderful Neptune/Jupiter conjunction in your sign in April and next week around May 17^th when Mars meets Neptune, all the artistic or spiritual growth you’ve been experiencing could come together as marketable value-added offerings. Use the Mercury retrograde to spend time revisiting and revising plans or blueprints. As lucky Jupiter boosts your income zone until October, be ready to make a strong case for a bonus or promotion or if self-employed to attract many more clients.
