Indra’s Net: Astrology Forecast December 4th – 11th, 2022

December 5th, 2022

By Lorna Bevan

Contributing Writer for Wake Up World

This is a week of alchemy – transformation from the inside out – courtesy of a stream of downloads from the Cloud via conjunctions by Mercury, Venus and the Sun to the deep space karmic points of the Great Attractor and the Galactic Centre.

Alchemy is not about transmuting base metals into gold –it’s the secret science of illumination, inner liberation and awakening to your true nature- another thread that links all religions and faiths to the vast Indra’s Net of spirituality.

The Net of Indra is a profound and subtle Buddhist metaphor for the structure of reality. Imagine a vast net; at each crossing point there is a jewel; each jewel is perfectly clear and reflects all the other jewels in the net, the way two mirrors placed opposite each other will reflect an image ad infinitum. The jewel in this metaphor stands for an individual being, or an individual consciousness, or a cell or an atom. Every jewel is intimately connected with all other jewels in the universe and a change in one jewel means a change in every other jewel.

On December 8th, triggering an energy flashpoint, Mars opposes the Sun just over an hour after the Full Moon in Gemini. Retrograde Mars is conjunct the Moon and square Neptune, so watch for restlessness, escapism and addictive behaviour and channel it into something productive using skilful Will, not strong Will. The shadow side of Gemini involves incompletions and superficiality.

To avoid making impulsive mistakes, embody another part of Gemini’s essence – Duality. This is what fate looks like -not realising that you stand in every split second at a fork in your road. The path is NEVER singular. There are two sides to every story and always at least two options within every choice: The ultimate catch is that once you walk the lower or higher path, the door closes behind you to the other road — you only know and live and experience the direction you chose. By stopping to think twice and looking at your own motives, you can harness the influence of the Gemini Full Moon for good. At this Full Moon, your words have more power to influence, heal or wound than usual, so be aware of what you say and how you say it

There is a high road and a low road. A muggle road and a magician road. A devil road and an angel road. An unconscious road and a conscious road.

Chandra Symbol Full Moon GEMINI 16:

A single sunflower wilting and dropping its seeds.

“The sun shines so bright that it compels all of us to empty ourselves out and bake in the light and the warmth of spirit. We are transfixed by solar power and impelled to unite with our destiny, no matter how extravagant or unlikely that destiny proves to be. A momentum is pulsating, with edges to track. In order to do so you have to breathe into it and let go a whole lot, and then there you are, calling onward. You can hear it. Everybody else can too. And the spirit-caller cracks through and brings futures alive in the light of a sun that never sets.”

Aries Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

As December starts, you’re in a phase of tying up loose ends, getting organised and preparing for Jupiter’s return to your sign on December 20th.This lucky transit happens once every 12 years but this time you’re having two bites of the cherry until May 16th next year. Jupiter expands everything he touches so start planning for big adventures, travel, projects and some well -deserved fun. Meanwhile, your personal planet Mars is retrograde and dragging his feet in your angle of communication until January 8th. As the action planet is in Gemini, get your work space de-cluttered, throwing out anything that is no longer useful or relevant. Double check your emails, posts, texts etc. as Mars is conjunct the Full Moon on December 8th.

Your words have the power to either heal or hurt.

Taurus Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

After the whirlwind of the November eclipses across your sign, you could probably do with a rest and the chance to make some sort of sense of all the shifts and changes swirling around you. As Mercury enters fellow Earth sign Capricorn on December 6th, start thinking about how you can expand your horizons through travel, study, teaching or publishing. You know much more than you think and you have life experience that others find both useful and inspiring. How could you put it together into an accessible format? The Gemini Full Moon on December 8 will help by focusing your mind on ways to boost your income as it looks as if a financial issue is coming to a head.

From March 2023, when Pluto reaches the pinnacle of your chart, your ability to influence others will surprise you and change everything.

Gemini Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

Cut yourself some slack in the first part of December and take some well-deserved down time. If you can, do a digital detox and notice how much better you feel when you’re not constantly chasing new information 24/7. You’re not needed as captain of the universe as Mars is retrograde in your sign until January 8th and mid-month, your personal planet Mercury slows down to turn backwards at the end of December. With magical Neptune turning forward on your midheaven, enjoy some sociable times with friends this week around the Full Moon in Gemini on December 8th.

Not everything needs to be a learning experience.

Cancer Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

Be aware that this week, some people around you could become even more insensitive than usual around the Full Moon on December 8th and avoid confrontation as much as possible. Retrograde Mars in Gemini is creating the sort of sharp energy spike that can lead to harsh words, if you’re not careful. Just stay on the side-lines as the soap operas play out. Use the first three weeks of the month to complete important projects and tie up loose ends, ready for Jupiter to bring both luck and serendipity to your career or life direction from the 20th. Until May 16th next year, you will have a once in 12 years opportunity to shine, to achieve your ambitions and to influence others. Think back to 2011- what was happening then?

Clearing away the old, ready to start afresh.

Leo Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

You’re in your element until the Solstice on December 21st as the Sun lights up fellow Fire sign Sagittarius. Make the most of it by starting the festivities early before Mercury and Venus cross into Capricorn at the end of the week. You have a lot to look forward to from December 20th when lucky Jupiter returns to Aries until May 2023.More of that to come. Meanwhile, action planet Mars is retrograde until early January in your angle of alliances. You’re probably reconsidering your affiliation to certain groups, tribes or friends. Tread carefully in the days around the Gemini Full Moon on December 8 as a Mars flashpoint could ignite arguments.

Take the high road.

Virgo Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

It wouldn’t be surprising if you’re feeling pushed and pulled in competing directions, since 3 of the 4 key angles of your chart are being activated at once. Neptune is changing direction affecting your one- to- one relationships, the Sun, Mercury and Venus are livening things up at home and retrograde Mars is creating roadblocks in your career. Take heart! Knowing that life will be much smoother from December 20th, the key is to slow down and to listen more than you speak. That way you’ll avoid overreacting to what are only temporary delays. This is especially important in the days round the December 8th Gemini Full Moon.

A chance for a course correction.

Libra Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

This week, your own planet Venus is in sociable mood in Sagittarius putting you in touch with more people than usual before crossing into Capricorn to light up life at home over the festive season. Around December 8 at the Gemini Full Moon, watch for sudden flashpoints or arguments. This is down to retrograde Mars making everyone more irrational than usual. Refuse to be dragged into someone else’s soap opera and sit it out. Since it’s lighting up your 9th House of bright ideas, you’ve more interesting things to think about and bigger plans to make.

Get the home fires burning.

Scorpio Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

The key to making the most of December for you as a Scorpio is to stop keeping on keeping on, to stop trying to push the river and to let go of the steering wheel. Knowing that your personal planet Mars will be retrograde -more or less offline in terms of action-and dragging his heels until January 2023, let things unfold at in their own time and at their own pace. 2022 has been a challenging year with harsh eclipses bringing unwanted changes for many Scorpios and you need some well-deserved rest and regeneration before 2023 arrives. The Full Moon on Thursday 8th delivers insights into which outgrown roles, rules and responsibilities you need to permanently release.

Lightening your load.

Sagittarius Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

With the Sun now back in your sign until the Solstice on December 21st, you’re literally back in your element and at your optimistic visionary best. Make the very most of Venus in Sagittarius until December 10th and squeeze the juice out of life. On the 8th, the Full Moon in Gemini is all about one- to- one relationships. Since Mars is retrograde and at odds with the Sun, expect sparks to fly. This could mean hot romance or arguments out of the blue. From December 20th, your own planet Jupiter will move into your 5th House of fun, creativity and self-expression until mid -May 2023 bringing luck and good fortune in a once every 12 years transit. If you’ve always wanted to become more entrepreneurial, risk taking and pioneering, here comes your chance to shine.

Clear the decks, tie up loose ends and get ready for take off.

Capricorn Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

It may be the period before your birthday when your solar battery always runs low but this week both Mercury and Venus will start early to re-charge your Capricornian power source. As December goes on, momentum will increase through the Solstice followed by the Capricorn Super Moon. This week, the Gemini Full Moon is a nudge to overhaul your health and to improve your wellbeing. Mars is sparking off the Sun, so watch out for tempers fraying and sudden disagreements. Take the long view about changing some of your more self-sabotaging habits and move one step at a time in a positive direction.

Channel your exceptionally strong will power.

Aquarius Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

You may be feeling as if you’d like to sit out the festivities this year and let others do the celebrating. That’s due to Task Master Saturn now travelling through the last degrees of your sign after delivering two years of harsh reality checks. Take heart! Saturn will permanently exit Aquarius on March 8th next year not to return for another 29 years. Before he departs, he will leave a gift, helping you end one chapter and get ready to open another, much more positive one. Between now and January 8th 2023, action planet Mars is travelling backwards reminding you to do more of what you truly enjoy and less of what you feel you “should” be doing. This liberating message will be delivered in spades at the Full Moon on December 8th

“Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray.” ~ Rumi

Pisces Weekly Forecast: December 4—11, 2022

Just like Virgo, it wouldn’t be surprising if you’re feeling pushed and pulled in competing directions, since 3 of the 4 key angles of your chart are being activated at once. Neptune and Jupiter in Pisces-your sense of identity- are in a hard angle to Sun, Venus and Mercury in Sagittarius-career- and to Mars retrograde in Gemini-partnerships. Luckily, your own planet mystical Neptune turns forward this Sunday December 4th restoring your Piscean super powers of creativity, imagination and intuition. Make sure to capture the wellspring of ideas, insights, inklings and dream images that arise -they are seeding your future. Around the Gemini Full Moon on December 8th, watch out for sudden emotional flare ups or arguments in your tribe and family.

Defuse the heat by doing something together that you all enjoy.
