This week, two Yang planetary events kickstart 2025’s radical transformations: an Aries Solar eclipse on March 29 and Neptune entering Aries on March 30 for the first time in 165 years.

This eclipse is the last in a series of six Aries/Libra eclipses between 2023/2025. The Sun/Moon at 9° Aries make no outward aspects but lead a huge planetary line up that starts in Pisces with Saturn/Node of Fate/Venus retrograde and Neptune in Aries with Mercury retrograde.

Those retrogrades are significant, turning a typical Aries “leap into action, feet first” eclipse into a deeper dive into your truths, motivations and blindsides.

The Personal Meets the Political

As we are still reeling from the seismic shocks and social and political fracturing catalysed by the 2020 Saturn Pluto conjunction in Capricorn, on March 30 gas giant Neptune crosses 0° Aries – the World Axis – the most significant point of the entire zodiac: it’s where it all starts.

This sets off July’s epochal Saturn/Neptune Conjunction at 0° Aries – active through to 2027 – the 2nd Huge Astrological Milestone of the Decade, equivalent in impact to the global lockdown conjunction.

Neptune will retrograde back and forth across the Master degrees of Pisces and the Aries Point between October to December, then remain in Fire sign Aries until 2039.

Neptune is the tsunami that the Saturnian walls cannot stop. It is heralding the collapse of structures -including nations-in order to create new forms. Their last conjunction saw the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Eastern bloc.

Crucial global issues such as regional wars, nuclear weaponry, the climate emergency, immigration and resource shortages will escalate.
