Wake Up World Turns 1

It’s hard to believe that 4^th May 2012 marked the 1 year anniversary of Wake Up World. As I think back over the last 12 months and the events leading up to the birth of WuW, the emotions are mixed; I feel amazed that we have reached as many people as we have so far. I feel blessed by the support and encouragement we have received. I feel sad that a site like Wake Up World even needs to exist in the first place. I feel validated knowing there are so many of you out there who feel the way I do and care enough to do something about it. And I feel excited that our world really IS waking up….. one soul at a time.

And I’m so proud to be a part of that awakening for so many readers. Since its inception, the WuW community has grown to include nearly 40,000 Facebook followers, our articles have been viewed over 4.8 million times, and our Alexia ranking peaked in the top 5000 sites in the world! Amazingly the numbers just keep growing.

But we don’t do it on our own.

I’d like to acknowledge the contribution of the writers and technical advisors from around the world who donate their time and talents to support our cause. Without them your screen would be blank.
