Let Go (It Will Be Okay!)

Life doesn’t set out to hurt you. It’s just crap sometimes and we have to understand it. Go with it. Learn from it.  Life is never out to get you. We have to learn to thrive despite the negativity, and push through our barriers to reach the love and the light that is always within us… yet so hard for many to grasp.

Just a couple of weeks ago I had nothing. No freedom, no job or money, no guidance through the things that I knew but couldn’t understand. Now I have been presented with a job. It’s not perfect but it’s enough to keep me going. I have now figured out a way to have driving lessons and am close to passing my test. I have earned money from doing something that I love whilst finally learning to trust in myself and in my abilities to help and to heal.  I have been blessed by meeting two amazing people who, even when they hadn’t met me before (not in this life anyway), have offered to take me under their wing because they believe that I am a very special person.

And all I did was ask for help. Help from the Universe.

Do you believe it will be okay?

If you KNOW that you are being looked after but don’t truly invest in that belief, then nothing will happen. You have to believe, and you have to behave like you believe. You have to let go to the process. This isn’t the same as just “not caring about anything anymore”, but actually releasing everything that you are holding on to and giving it to the Universe with the purest of trust that it will be sorted. Then the Universe will respond. You need only to be prepared to listen and look out for the signs, or else you will miss the opportunity for change and growth you’re asking for.

When the SHTF, we can easily become stuck in a downward spiral of despair, self-loathing or victimhood. But all it takes is a conscious change in your perspective. Yes, it is as simple as that. It is up to you. Once you change how you actively view your life, your experiences and the people you share them with, everything becomes different…. easier to handle. It is almost like taking off a pair of blacked out glasses.

You have been through all the crap for a reason: to learn that which makes you stronger, and more compassionate. These experiences can help us to recognize  our true nature, and find peace with our real selves. The trick is to learn to recognize the lesson, and act upon it.  The only way out is through.  When challenges get the better of you, stop, take a deep breath and allow yourself to feel it. You are human after all so  be empathetic to yourself, just as you would a friend. Recognize the message, and let the energy flow back to the Universe.

Sound easier said than done? Well, I guess acceptance is the first step. That doesn’t necessarily mean that you wallow in parts of your life that don’t make you happy, with no intent of changing them, just that you see them for what they are. That is the way it has to be, for now. Once you learn to accept your life – and your self – you can be more objective in the way you reflect on your experiences make decisions about your life.

Ask yourself what message is embedded in those negative experiences? Are there any patterns? Take a step back and see your life how it really is. Understand  that everything you have been through, the good and the bad, is a part of you. The energy of your experience has helped you become the person you are today. XTrust that you will choose experiences that help you become who you are tomorrow. Once you change your mind, your actions will follow. Be comfortable with that awareness.

You are never alone.  If you listen within, your Higher Self will guide you.

Let go. It will be okay!  It was the best thing that I ever did.
