The seismic window from Saturday’s Taurus New Moon is still active, so there may be more weather -related events or earth shifts to come. But the real change is that whilst all the slow moving collective planets -Jupiter/Saturn/Pluto-are now retrograde, digging up yet more truths we’ve missed in the last few months since January, all the inner personal planets are moving forward and very active.

Mercury, Venus and Mars are weaving a new pattern and paradigm with deep space points and planets Jupiter, the Node of Fate, Quaoar, Eris and the Galactic Centre -acting as messengers from the future, retrieving and bringing into the light of day surprising and shocking information, secrets and revelations. As Venus conjuncts Black Madonna/Kali disruptor Eris in the first of 5 Pluto/Eris squares, the return and rise of true female power and rage will be heard and felt very strongly.
If you have planets or angles near 21-23 Aries, 1-3 Taurus,20-23 Capricorn,23 Sagittarius, the news could be close up and personal. May 8, May 9 and 10th are days to expect just about anything and be ultra-flexible, responsive not reactive and just allow your mind and body to absorb the incoming data. No rushing to judgments about whether it’s “good or bad”-the dust won’t settle until the Buddha Full Moon in Scorpio on May 18th.

A bottle labelled “drink me.”
“The force of events sweeps away who we thought we were and plunges us to a deeper place beyond the known. The sheer immediacy, the sudden clarity shifts mountains of intent into a different octave altogether. Being taken by storm is the most direct path from here to there. And when cosmic worlds are urgently coming through, the only smart thing is to step aside and make a huge amount of room for unexpected guests, at events you could never have arranged in your wildest dreams.”
Aries Weekly Forecast: May 5-12, 2019
This could be a week when chickens come home to roost or you close the coop door. With Chiron, Venus and disruptor Eris in your sign at odds with eliminator Pluto, a situation involving your work, career or service could escalate as a result of power plays. Just be aware that people are going to be impetuous and volatile and refuse to take the bait, unless you really do want a get out card. And you too are mirroring that restlessness, feeling trapped or stuck in a situation or partnership that is keeping you small. Instead of overreacting to each event, decide in advance what is negotiable and non-negotiable and stick to it. This is just the start of learning to separate what is yours, how you want to live, and what are old rules that you long ago outgrew.
You are freer than you can imagine.
Taurus Weekly Forecast: May 5-12, 2019
The seismic window from last Saturday’s New Moon in your sign is still wide open, so set up some intriguing activities to surprise yourself and lever yourself right out of your old comfort zone. You won’t feel like staying safely at home anyway when Mercury enters Taurus on Monday then has a close encounter of the unexpected kind with awakener Uranus on Wednesday. They align with Quaoar on the Galactic Centre- the deep space planet known as the Creation Force which allows you to manifest and bring through into reality a new way of life that lines up with your highest intentions. You can do this by tapping into your sensory acuity, the source of intuition, and letting it guide you. Between now and May 18th at the Full Moon, forget linear schedules and planning and start some new creative projects, passions or income streams just for the fun of it.
Give yourself permission to be anything and anyone you chose.
Gemini Weekly Forecast: May 5-12, 2019
On the heels of Saturday’s New Moon, on Monday your personal ruler Mercury enters the most hidden part of your chart and is immediately electrified by awakener Uranus. Yet, until May 21st, your solar batteries are low and need re-charging by focusing of extra self-care. Upping the temp even more, Mars is in your sign opposite Jupiter turning everyday life into a soap opera. Refuse to be drawn into any dramas or to react without thinking, instead channel the wake up calls from Mercury into getting up to date with yourself, discovering your blindsides and checking how well your outer life matches your inner life.
Expect some surprising insights.
Cancer Weekly Forecast: May 5-12, 2019
With both Saturn and Pluto now retrograde in your opposite sign, the intense inner and outer pressure of recent months lessens a little. You’ve made some important decisions about your career or service and now’s the time to look at the results so far and perhaps make a course correction. Saturn on the karmic South Node means business and it’s beyond important to bring yourself right up to date with what is actually happening-as opposed to what you want to happen- so you can use the next few months to re-structure any aspects of your life that you’ve outgrown. Instead of focusing on what you think ” have “ to do, think about what you really want.
Is busyness an excuse for avoiding yourself?
Leo Weekly Forecast: May 5-12, 2019
It’s going to be a busy week of twists and turns so you need to be ready to be extra adaptable and open to changes of agenda or plans. The pinnacle of your chart-your career angle-is lit up like a Christmas tree as Mercury, archetype of business, is fried by unpredictable Uranus. This astrology is delivering options, choices and possibilities to your front door but you have to wake up and smell the coffee. Switch off the old mindset that says “I prefer to stick with what I know” and get curious and intrigued about the new direction your life is taking. Don’t even think about resisting events or dismissing the new because it’s untried and untested-that way lies stagnation.
Take a leap of faith.
Virgo Weekly Forecast: May 5-12, 2019
Have you heard of “normalcy bias”? This is the tendency humans have to expect things to go on the way they always have, or that the current unsettledness will eventually return to “normal.” This is a self-deception you definitely can’t afford, as something unprecedented is going on that will be challenging to deal with, hard to perceive and even to conceive of. You are invited into new experience that arises from the current chaos – nothing less than a fresh start or pioneering adventure. Chaos theory says that if you can tap into the heart of the chaos, you find the creative seed that leads to a new unfolding reality. One way to do this is by expecting the best rather than the worst.
A new way of operating-definitely not cruise control.
Libra Weekly Forecast: May 5-12. 2019
To get a perspective, keep in mind that the seismic window from last Saturday’s New Moon is still active ,catalysing events outside your control. Then add to the mix your personal ruler Venus in your relationship zone encountering disruptor Eris and both at odds with reality planets Saturn and Pluto. Finish off the heady cocktail with Mercury conjunct unpredictable Uranus in your money angle and shake. Yes, it’s an anything- can -happen -and -probably- will sort of week. But that doesn’t mean throwing in the towel or watching helplessly as events unfold. Do the opposite. Shakeups whether emotional or financial will release you from stuck habits and contain the seeds of the new and far more intriguing.
Boredom is not an option.
Scorpio Weekly Forecast: May 5-12, 2019
In what is a potentially volatile sort of week, when the New Moon seismic window is still open, your best strategy is to exaggerate it, do more of it by deliberately throwing a monkey wrench into your stuck routines, surprising yourself and others by erasing old lines in the sand. With Mercury electrified by unpredictable Uranus, this is a wake up call to deconstruct your old methods of communication with those close to you. What are the usual dynamics? Are they delivering the results you want? Where are your boundaries too rigid? Are you someone who tells people or someone who is a true connector? Do you prefer to be right or to be happy? Frame it as an interesting experiment and notice how much freer you feel when you delete some of your old rules.
Creating win/win relationships.
Sagittarius Weekly Forecast: May 5-12, 2019
You have your quest, your vision, your grand plan and you’re going after it. That’s great and you’re definitely on the right track but it’s time to press the pause button. This week it’s going to vital to check the details, the fine print and do due diligence. With your personal ruler Jupiter at odds with slippery Neptune plus Mercury in Trickster mode with unpredictable Uranus, someone could wrong foot you by suddenly changing their minds over an agreement or project. The worst thing you can do is to confront them or argue with them -they have their own hidden agenda. Play a long game by appearing to take it lightly, finding it amusing or silly and keep them guessing. Just concentrate on your own game plan and by the Full Moon on May 18th, the dust will have settled in your favour.
Keeping the faith.
Capricorn Weekly Forecast: May 5-12, 2019
Make your mantra this week: expect the unexpected. With the personal planets upping the drama, just about everyone will be extra sensitive or overreactive. In your solar chart Venus meets disruptor Eris in your angle of home, family, tribe and belonging at odds with reality planets Saturn and Pluto in your own sign. A stale or stuck relationship or situation needs a blast of fresh air and fresh thinking. And with Mercury electrified by awakener Uranus in your angle of creativity, insights will appear out of the ethers. It doesn’t have to be a drama, a soap opera or a big deal. Just release your need to be captain of the universe and let others sort it out.
The path of least resistance.
Aquarius Weekly Forecast: May 5-12, 2019
Ever since awakener Uranus-your personal ruler-activated the base of your chart, the angle of home, tribe, family and belonging back in February, you’ve started to notice how ingrained and restrictive certain habits, schedules and routines have become. On Wednesday Mercury aligns with Uranus and your desire to ring the changes reaches a new high. Take a long look at your surroundings-where you live, how you live, who you live with – then ask yourself “What am I tolerating, putting up with or settling for?” Notice what immediately springs to mind and don’t override it. These are your clues about how to match your insides with your outsides.
See it as an experiment in trusting your instincts.
Pisces Weekly Forecast: May 5-12, 2019
Expect a week of anything could happen and probably will. With the up close and personal planets bringing change on several fronts, it’s impossible to make rational sense of it. Fortunately, your natural modus operandi is feeling, intuiting and sensing. So drop the need to know what’s happening or what’s going to happen and follow your own nose. There are big clues to be found as Mercury is electrified by awakener Uranus in your zone of communication and connection. It’s all about your willingness to push the envelope, to work from your creative leading edge, bringing back information from the near future that is accessible and adds value. Don’t look back to see if anyone else is following, keep going.
Becoming a pathpaver.
