A Message From the Future: Astrology Forecast January 19 – 25, 2020

January 20th, 2020

By Lorna Bevan

Contributing Writer for Wake Up World

As I write in my Survive and Thrive Guide to 2020,this is the year of the great shift from the political and corporate Capricorn, driven by Pluto and Saturn, to the social and humanitarian Aquarius, animated by Jupiter and Saturn and the start of the Great Transformation 2020-2030. 2020 ends with a conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in the first degree of Aquarius, which is one of the brightest astrological beacons we’ve had in a long time.

This week, you’ll sense the first Aquarian futurist frequencies as a stunning New Moon at 4 Aquarius aligns perfectly with Uranus in Taurus – the body electric. Synchronistically, Aquarius is ruled by eccentric outlier Uranus underlining the message of progressive change.

In your own birth mandala, whichever aspect of life Aquarius symbolises for you is being woken up, stirred, reminding you that it’s time to stop watching the old world burn and turn towards building a different future. That everything you do makes a difference.

The 4 Aquarius New Moon

Not only is the New Moon conjunct Ceres and Mercury and square Uranus in Taurus, but Mars is on the Great Attractor at 14 Sagittarius-aka the Wavelength of the Creator’s Voice. The most potent source of electromagnetic radiation in the known universe, the Great Attractor bends both space and time, giving a simultaneous view of the past, present and future. It appears to be receding from us and approaching us at the same time, heading in both directions at an almost impossibly fast pace. As the Source (Great Attractor) of the Source (Super Galactic Centre) of our Source (Galactic Centre), its influence is both subtle and profound and in 5D evolutionary astrology the Great Attractor represents the key to the mystery of the universe.

Expect a week of surprises, revelations and new information/technology. Between them Pluto, Ceres and Uranus are waking us all up out of our consumerist complacency to the reality of out of control climate change-the inconvenient truth of 2020 and beyond.

The Chandra Symbol for the New Moon Aquarius 4:

Many Fireflies Gathering at Dusk

You become aware all at once of staggering things, of astounding things, of world-shattering things. States of revelation. You are being called inwardly to wake up and heed the stirrings of the future. Capable of bounding leaps, you are infused with a spirit of new beginnings. Especially strongly drawn toward altered states and threshold awareness. You’ve been brought to places where all of the shared assumptions and ideologies become pale and lifeless, and something other sparks recognition and pursuit. Collectively inspired to find alternatives, to seek a vision, to gather with those who are similarly touched, you are in on the ground floor of new movements and innovative discoveries. And full of wonder and awe at the process, and at a whole way of things in worlds such as this one.” Elias Lonsdale Inside Degrees.

Aries Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

For so much of the last few years-especially since late 2017- much of your attention has been on your career, your job, your purpose-often out of sheer necessity. It must feel as if it’s going to be like this forever. Not so. Although change agent Pluto will stay on this angle of your chart for another 4 years, there’s about to be a noticeable shift and the first inklings arrive this week. On Monday the Sun returns to Aquarius, followed by a New Moon on Friday 24th.Your Aquarian 11th House is all about connection, alliances, groups, collaborations and friendships and this part of your life is going to be expanded for the next few years. Start by identifying your most important values. What’s so important to you that it’s as integral as breathing? That’s where you can make most difference.

No more lone ranger.

Taurus Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

Ever since late 2008 and increasingly during the last two years, your beliefs and your philosophy of life have been turned inside out. Life has shown you that many of the rules you learnt as a child are not only wrong but restrictive and even counter-productive. You’ve been opening your mind to a much bigger, more expansive world view, coming into contact with people who make you re-think everything you took for granted. Beginning this week as the energy shifts to Aquarius from Capricorn, the pinnacle of your chart is activated. Everything you’ve lived, experienced, learnt and created so far is going to be distilled into adding value for others through a change in career, purpose or life path. During Friday’s New Moon, be alert for new information, clues or whispers that speak directly to your deepest self.

Finding your true voice.

Gemini Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

There’s a welcome breath of fresh air this week with your personal planet Mercury and a New Moon in futurist progressive Aquarius. For what seems like forever, you’ve had to deal with material reality as your finances and resources faced changes that were, to put it mildly, challenging. Slowly, step by step this year, as first Saturn then Jupiter leaves your Capricorn 8th House and moves into your Aquarian 9th House, you lift your eyes from day to day survival to the big wide world around you. This week, as the Sun enters Aquarius on Monday followed by a stunning New Moon on Friday 24th, notice what’s drawing your interest. It could be an intriguing course of study or a travel opportunity or a different belief system. Whatever it is, follow the clues…

It’s a big world out there.

Cancer Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

Take heart. This week you’ll feel a very welcome release of some of the pressure you’ve been under. It won’t suddenly disappear overnight but will be lightened by a breath of fresh air. As the Sun enters Aquarius on Monday, followed by a stunning New Aquarian Moon on Friday 24th, the energy is much more compatible with yours, shifting from heavy earthy concrete Capricorn to the airy progressive Water Bearer. Aquarius is your 8th House of life’s big questions, intimacy and personal psychology. It would be an excellent time to talk to a psychotherapist, wise friend or counsellor. With ground breaking Uranus in Taurus aligned with this New Moon, any kind of support group or safe space would let some light into those dark corners.

Talking about what really matters.

Leo Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

As the Sun returns to your opposite sign of Aquarius on Monday followed by a stunning New Aquarian Moon on Friday, partnerships of all kinds need your attention. With unpredictable Uranus at the top of your chart at odds with the New Moon, there could be frank discussions about your work/life balance with those closest to you. It’s the perfect time to strengthen a close bond and someone might surprise you with the intensity of their feelings. On the other hand, breaks and splits are a speciality of Uranus, so it could go either way. Your best strategy is to listen instead of talk-you’re likely to learn something important about yourself.

Opening up.

Virgo Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

Out of all the signs, as a Virgo, you have the best hand of cards this week. Venus is shining brightly in your opposite sign of Pisces and heading for a merger with far seeing glamorous Neptune-your personal attractor quotient is set to high! Added to this, your own planet Mercury is in futurist Aquarius along with the Sun and Friday’s New Moon giving you the urge to spring clean. Think of it as sunlight suddenly shining through dusty windows, showing you what needs upgrading, removing or replacing in your health, wellbeing or schedule. Use all those creative ideas you’ve been quietly incubating and have fun switching things around to let in a blast of fresh air to shake out the cobwebs.

 A little light relief.

Libra Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

As some of very dense heavy energy dissipates after the huge Saturn/Pluto conjunction in earthy Capricorn, you can feel yourself start to lighten up. On Monday the Sun enters fellow compatible Air sign Aquarius to be followed by a beautiful Aquarian New Moon on Friday 24th.In your Libran solar chart, Aquarius is your 5th House of creativity, self-expression, fun, children and romance-sounds appealing, doesn’t it? This is the part of your life that is going to experience a re-flowering in 2020/21 and you get a brief preview of coming attractions now. Follow your instincts, lighten up on yourself, cut yourself some slack and notice how your spirits lift.

Life is for living.

Scorpio Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

The end of January for you is full of promise. Venus in compatible sensitive Water sign Pisces is lighting up your angle of romance, pleasure and enjoyment, making you more attractive than usual. On Monday the Sun returns to futurist Aquarius followed by a stunning Aquarian New Moon on Friday 24th.For you, this shift from the heavy, concrete energy of Capricorn to the progressive ideas of the Water Bearer turns your thoughts towards brightening up your home. Open the windows, clear away the cobwebs, choose an adventurous colour for the walls and open the doors to welcome in friends and family. Indulge your romantic, creative ideas to the full and enjoy how it lifts your spirits.

Freedom to be yourself.

Sagittarius Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

With Venus lighting up your angle of family, tribe and belonging, home is definitely where your heart is. Invite people round, throw an impromptu party or use your space to springboard a meeting around an issue that is close to your heart. As the energy shifts this week from heavy, practical Capricorn to progressive freethinking Aquarius, new ideas come up for discussion. Friday’s Aquarian New Moon in your angle of connections starts a year of innovative thinking when you are drawn to collaborate with ideas factories or groups of likeminded people. Refuse to settle for the same old, same old conventional ways of doing things.

Lighting a spark that will become a blaze.

Capricorn Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

January’s double whammy of an eclipse plus the Saturn/Pluto conjunction in your own sign has probably left you feeling overwhelmed, depleted or just plain exhausted. Not surprising-your entire system- mental, physical and emotional-has just been blown wide open. Instead of trying to push on by using willpower, pause to listen to what your body’s telling you. Take a step back to rest and recover. Anything’s better than burnout. Once you’ve recharged your batteries, take a look at your finances. Friday’s Aquarian New Moon is the day to start a new chapter in your accounts book.

Make your wellbeing your top priority.

Aquarius Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

The force is definitely with you, Aquarius. The great shift that marks a turning point in 2020 from heavy materialistic Capricorn to your own sign of the future is now underway. Feel yourself back in your own element as Mercury, the Sun and Friday’s Aquarian New Moon let in fresh air and solar energy, re-charging your batteries. Fritzing and electrifying your system, your personal planet awakener Uranus aligns with the New Moon. Channel that restlessness into your home, making your private space exactly as you want it-eccentric colours, unusual wall hangings, new technology-whatever floats your boat.

It’s a homecoming to being yourself.

Pisces Weekly Forecast: Jan 19-25, 2020

Cut yourself some slack, step back from striving or efforting and just enjoy floating on these wonderfully supportive aspects. Beautiful Venus is in Pisces until next month, lifting your spirits and opening your heart. Not only that but the Goddess makes a wonderful alignment to gift bringer Jupiter as she heads for a merger with dream maker Neptune, your personal planet. You are suddenly more attractive to those around you who are drawn to your charm, kindness and empathy. This is a wonderful time to fall in love, rekindle an old romance or lose yourself in nature. Make an artist’s date with yourself and go and explore what the world has to offer.

Rose tinted glasses.
