The more I’ve awoken my true beingness, the fewer words there are to describe the awesome simplicity that remains.
My experience is of a space of timeless emptiness, a place of liberation. It is a paradoxical internal experience that encompasses all things. Form dissolves into the formlessness from which it arose and reforms a new. When I look, I see this boundless beingness at the heart of us all.
Unfolding our true beingness is an invitation to be present in EVERY moment.
When I feel something arise that no longer serves me – something I have previously been attached to or bothered by – I feel it. To let go and release, we must throw ourselves into the heart of the emotion or feeling. We experience the entire essence of it. Only then are we able to let it go, for it has fully served its purpose and revealed to us, that, which we are not.
It’s not the challenge that is a problem. It’s our relationship to it.
How Do We Know That We’ve Let It Go?
Answer: When it no longer ceases to be an issue.
We may see the same issue come and go, yet it no longer bothers us. Instead we can act from a place of authentic discernment. Non-judgemental action happens as we align with benevolent consciousness and are not attached to the outcome.
This comes with commitment with every cell of our being to the spiritual path. Without it, we just keep walking round and round in circles never really getting anywhere.
Being Completely Honest With Ourselves
Whilst almost everyone might yearn to, not everyone is quite ready to fully unleash the soul. It’s hardly surprising. Unleashing the soul, usually means a radical change in life’s circumstances, as all the things that bound us are let go of.
There are usually so many things (limiting behaviour patterns, restricting thoughts, emotional imprisonment, guilt, fear, anxiety, lack of trust in the divine, lack of belief in oneself) to let go of; so many things that need first be unraveled to unbind the soul from the restricting thought forms and emotions that keep it locked in.
This all takes time.
Yet, no matter where we are on the spiritual path; no matter how near or far we are from full liberation, there is always a lot that can be done.
One of the most powerful things to do, is to be completely honest with ourselves. Profound self honesty has an incredible power to catalyse your spiritual evolution beyond measure.
Ask ‘why’… why would you choose to hold on to that which no longer serves your journey of evolution? Listen carefully to your reply. Above all else – be totally and utterly HONEST. There is never any right or wrong answer. There is no-one to convince. It will be deeply revealing. Then, you can make an honest choice as to whether you stay with the limiting behaviour… or let go of it. Even a conscious choice NOT to let go of something can help you unravel the limiting lower mind.
Unfolding authentic spiritual beingness is not about denying or trying to run away from thoughts. It is about allowing our authentic essence to emerge from beyond them. This doesn’t happen by denying them or creating distractions. Denying thoughts, feelings and blockages is somewhat like ‘stuffing things under the rug’ – you’ll only trip over them again soon enough.
It just doesn’t work.
Something Miraculous Happens
Liberation from blockages comes from giving arising issues our complete and undivided attention – by going in to their heart. If we do this fully then something miraculous happens. They begin to dissolve. We see them for what they truly are and realise that they cannot define us (as they have been doing). They have simply served their purpose of keeping us trapped in the illusion and disappear. It is an ongoing process. There is no quick fix, yet when we begin to experience the liberation and feel ever greater levels of consciousness flooding in it becomes much easier.
We embrace life with a completely open mind and heart, not knowing what to expect, ready to go with whatever is unveiled for us. When we give ourselves fully (and by fully I mean without one microcosmic measure of holding back) to whatever comes, we find ourselves falling through into true liberation.
When It Is Hot, Become That Heat Completely
I don’t read much, although a few years ago I found a wonderful book on my shelf called “The Path to Bodhidharma”. It illustrates the theme of this article so well.
In the old days in China there was a priest named Master Tozan. A monk asked him: “How can we escape from this severe heat and cold?”
This is not just a question about severe heat and cold. It is a question about the very reality we are facing – a melancholy and difficult reality, a reality full of suffering. People are sick and in pain; people have lost their homes in disasters and wars and have nothing in which to believe any longer and are suffering in their despair. For those whose belongings have been destroyed, their refuge in the material world has been shown to be empty and meaningless. This kind of pain is always occurring around us.
Master Tozan answered the monk: “You have to go where there is no hot and cold!”
The monk continued: “Where is that place where there is no hot or cold? Where is that true place of refuge for the mind?”
The priest answered: “When it is hot, become that heat completely! When it is cold, become at one with that cold – completely and totally! When it is painful, become that misery totally and completely! In the very midst of that, go beyond all the thoughts you hold in your mind, let go of all ideas of good or bad or gain or loss – let go of these thoughts – and from that place grasp that place of your very own vivid life energy! That which directly experiences that “ouch” – feel that life energy directly, grasp the life energy that feels that pain and sorrow. More important than finding a way out of pain and suffering, or trying to find a place where there is no pain or suffering, is to go directly to that place where pain and suffering are being experienced, to go where you feel that pain and sadness directly and totally. Touch that life energy directly and with your own experience. Use that actual direct experience which you have grasped as your base, and stand up strong and firm.”
This is how the master answered the monk.
The Only Way Out Is Through
True spirituality embraces all things. By going to the heart of our blockages, we drop through the body and mind, reconnecting with our true enlightened nature beyond all these things.
Go into the heart of all things and all things illusionary will fall away. The true authentic being that you are will unfold.

About the Author
Trinity is an experienced, empathic energy worker. Around 18 years ago, during a profound spiritual awakening, the world around her shattered. At the time, she became engulfed in a white, universal, timeless, formless light until nothing else existed, other than the nameless truth at the core of all sentient beings. Following which, her path rapidly became one of deep compassion for the Earth and environment.
During her journey, she has integrated a wide variety of multidimensional gifts including clair-sentience, kundalini awareness, inner child healing, removal of energy blockages, past life regressions and karmic healing. She works hand in hand with the Angelic Realms.
Trinity is the co-founder of the Openhand Foundation, an organisation dedicated to the evolution of humankind. She works as the divine complement to her soul mate Chris Bourne to help facilitate the global Ascension process and feels incredibly blessed to be of divine service.
