Natural Cure for Chronic Pain Syndromes Silenced by the Medical Establishment

More proof that medical science wants you on drugs!

Lately, it seems that every other person suffers some one type of pain syndrome or another. And if you are one of them, it’s not only physically painful, but emotionally difficult as well.

This combination is nothing shy of  disastrous to your quality of life, and it’s easy to see how this can become quite the cycle. With, of course, no shortage of prescriptions drugs for all your symptoms, as well as drugs for the symptoms you haven’t experience yet!

Let’s first discover how a health “condition” gets labelled as a syndrome and/or a disease.

A syndrome is basically defined as a health condition with more than one symptom; however, not yet classified as a “disease.” In other words, a syndrome is based on more than one symptom that is not directly measured and/or tangible by medical science. This is known as subjective (or anecdotal) pain, because the pain is reported by the patient, but cannot be confirmed to “really” exist via medical science.

“My back hurts”,  “I have a headache”,  “It feels like bugs are crawling under my skin”; they are all  subjective, and usually not measurable objectively. But, if you have more than one of these “symptoms”, then a  syndrome  is born.

Diseases, on the other hand, are symptoms that can be  “verified” by medical science  and are no longer considered subjective; but rather considered  objective. So a disease has “sound scientific substance”.

Although painfully “real” to the person experiencing these symptoms, sadly they are  not viewed as a “real” physical condition per the medical definition of Evidence Based Medicine.  And because of this, many of these pain syndromes where often labelled as conditions that were “all in your head”. Sadly, doctors  routinely  were referred these patients out for psychiatric care.

Though most patients are no longer referred for psychiatric care  these days, they are typically given pharmaceuticals that have a  direct influence on the person emotional state. This would suggest that medical science still believes these conditions to be the manifestations of the persons mind, and not due to an actual condition.

Medical Doctors Are Over-Medicating

Anti-depressants and/or anti-anxiety medication are two of the most common prescribed drugs in the US with over 250,000,000 prescriptions written each year… and growing!  So, it isn’t surprising they are also part of the pain syndrome treatment protocol.

But first things first. The people with these pain syndromes need something for the pain, right?

A drug gaining popularity in recent days in the treatment of chronic pain syndromes is  Methadone. Methadone has been reported to be upwards to  20x stronger  than both  Vicodin  or  Percocet, which also makes Methadone a far more  dangerous  drug.

Prescriptions for painkillers are at an all time high along with, and not  surprisingly,  deaths due to overdose from those prescription painkillers!  

Tizanidine (zanaflex)  is another commonly prescribed drug for nerve pain. One of its more dangerous side-effects is liver toxicity, along with dangerous potential interactions with other drugs.

And to top it all off, people suffering from pain syndromes are probably not sleeping well at night due to the… PAIN! Report this symptom to your medical doctor, and as fast as the prescription can be written, you can add yet another drug to your “treatment” arsenal!  By far, prescription sleep  medications  are the most prescribed  medication  in the USA! Statistics now show:  nearly half of all Americans take at least one prescription drug and near 40% take at least two!

The most common advice medical doctors offer these  patients  is to simply learn to live with their respective syndrome(s) along with pain management (drugs).  And many medical doctors,  although not offering much hope for relief themselves,  frequently even advice against holistic options such as chiropractic, acupuncture, and sadly, nutritional treatments.

How bleak and sad for the person already suffering!

But the questions that I don’t hear from the medical profession are:  Why are these people suffering in the  first place? What is the  cause(s)  of these symptoms?

Cause and Effect

When you look at all the chemicals we are exposed to everyday (in our food, air, and water), isn’t  only logical that there would be an impact on our health?  Can we really live in a polluted environment without it affecting our nutritional status?

It is a well documented fact that alcohol depletes the body of  B vitamins  and  vitamin C. So, what of all the preservatives, chemicals and toxins from  genetically modified foods we now consume? Do they deplete the body as well?  Of course they do! This is why I firmly believe that  all syndromes and disease start from nutrition deficiencies… and I’m going to prove it!

Pain syndromes such as:

… all have studies linking these conditions to nutritional deficiencies. And there  are three nutrients that are  “deficiency stand-outs”.  They are  magnesium,  Vitamin D, and  Vitamin B12.

In the USA, it’s epidemic!

Interestingly, all three have been sabotaged by conventional medicine, and the result is impressively simple:

  • Keep the public  afraid  of nutrition
  • Instead give them nutrition guidelines that are  useless; such as the RDI (“recommended daily intake”)
  • Give them a pharmaceutical drug, which only  exponentiates  the nutritional deficiency
  • And don’t forget that  surgery is always another option!

Magnesium deficiency is nothing new. But sadly most people are completely unaware of it.  A 2007 Study reported,

“Magnesium inadequacy affects more than half of the U.S. population  and is  associated with increased risk for many age-related diseases, yet the underlying mechanisms are unknown…”

An interesting article in  LifeExtension Magazine, 2005, said the following:

“The latest government study shows a staggering  68% of Americans do not consume the recommended daily intake of magnesium… Is it any wonder that disability and death from heart attack and stroke are the nation’s leading killers?

While the government officially refuses to recognize the effects of magnesium in preventing vascular disease, the  National Institutes of Health  does publish the following on its website:

  • Magnesium is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body. It helps maintain normal muscle and nerve function, keeps heart rhythm steady, supports a healthy immune system, and keeps bones strong. Magnesium also helps regulate blood sugar levels, promotes normal blood pressure, and is known to be involved in energy metabolism and protein synthesis.  There is an increased interest in the role of magnesium  in preventing and managing disorders such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes.

The nation’s leading health agency acknowledges magnesium’s critical role in keeping us alive, yet the FDA has done everything it could to keep this low-cost mineral out of Americans’ bodies.”

But there is something else here that is being missed: the study was only referring  to the Recommended Daily Intake (RDI), which is the minimal amount needed to maintain health one step above disease and not the amount needed for optimal health, let alone the amount needed to recover from an illness!

The article continues by adding:

Doctors eagerly prescribe expensive patented drugs, while low-cost nutrients like magnesium remain overlooked.  If the 68% of Americans who are magnesium deficient took corrective action, the need for many of these prescription drugs would be reduced.

Instead, the public is bombarded with advertisements encouraging people to ask their doctor for statin drugs such as Lipitor ® and Zocor ®…

… The result is that startling numbers of aging Americans  suffer the  lethal  consequences of magnesium deficiency.”

Myofascial Pain Syndrome

What of other health conditions such as Myofascial Pain Syndrome?

People suffering from conditions designated as “syndromes” are routinely found to have multiple nutritional deficiencies. As the body becomes weaker, mental health also begins to suffer. It is no surprise that prolonged pain can easily result in  depression and/or anxiety.  The stress from depression and anxiety then compounds the nutritional deficiencies, thus worsening the condition. Moreover, the drugs further perpetuate the nutritional deficiency.

What a cycle!

Multiple Sclerosis  has long been linked to  magnesium  and  Vitamin D  deficiency. It’s therefore no wonder that many who suffer from MS also are diagnosed with Myofascial Pain.

So, with at least 68% of the population known to be deficient, why hasn’t any effort gone into the real prevention  of these diseases? Logic would suggest that we already know what the cure is…  nutrition!

Restless Leg Syndrome

Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) is a fairly new “health condition” that has gained in popularity with medical professionals. Interestingly, this new syndrome actually had a pharmaceutical drug designated to it before the syndrome was given its name!

In  Medical News Today, a 2009 article estimated that RLS affects nearly 10% of the population,

“Recent research has found that people with restless leg syndrome are deficient in the mineral magnesium.”

But even the popular website WebMD clearly states:

“The specific causes of restless legs syndrome (RLS) are  not known.”

Although they later state on the same page:

“Vitamin and mineral deficiency, such as magnesium deficiency and  vitamin B-12 deficiency  is a possible “medical condition”  linked to RLS.“

What? Is this some fancy play on words here?

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Chronic fatigue syndrome  gained popularity in the 1980’s. Yet even then,  magnesium  was recognized as a major player. A study in the  Lancet, 1991  found the following:

“Red cell magnesium returned to normal in  all patients on magnesium  but in only 1 patient on placebo. The findings show that  magnesium may have a role in CFS.”

And even with studies like this one linking CFS with magnesium deficiency, the  medical professional still chooses to ignore the research in lieu of pharmaceuticals.

People are in pain,  real pain, and too many lives are being ruined; ruined by the pain syndrome, and ruined by the drugs themselves!

When will this stop? When will enough be enough?  When will we wake up to the fact that everything in our world if severely polluted (in the name of profit) and is causing these deficiencies in our bodies? When will real nutrition be considered the first and only solution to our health problems,  especially  since this is what the research is  proving?

Is there a  reason  why they want us on so many drugs? Is it more than just profits?

People every day  cure their health conditions – from pain syndromes such as myofascial pain and restless legs syndromes to diseases such as multiple sclerosis (as I did!) and cancer.  And they are living proof that the  cure is found only through nutrition, and  never via a drug!

    Goods article. I wish I had the money to try ALL the nutritional solutions I’ve seen presented. I’ve had Chronic Pain for just short of 30 years. I also just had back operation #7, which finally helped a LOT for a change! My back is falling apart, though. Pieces of annulus end up wedged into nerve roots, and another was causing my spinal cord to be compressed by more than 75%. More and more problems develop as I age. If I exercise, eventually I cause more damage; if I DON’T, something falls apart from lack of use. Food? Just TRY avoiding GMOs, hidden additives, rBGH PLUS the crap in chemtrails… the list is nearly endless. And C.P. and insomnia are crippling.I eat pretty much once a day. Usually. Supplements? NO medical insurance pays for them! They’ll pay for the drugs, though. Obamacare (did you know?) funnels loads of money to vaccine makers (and advertisers). The corporation own what’s left of America’s soul.

    I was sick for eleven years before diagnosis, I have a rare disease called syringomyelia, a cyst is in my thoracic spine. I was injured in giving birth to my daughter, but doctors try to tell me my disease has no symptoms. They have said all of my symptoms are caused by fibromyalgia and chronic pain syndrome.
    I have assured everyone I’m not seeking a law suit, but still they treat me like a Peoria.
    I’ve studied the spinal cord since my diagnosis and believe that it’s not safe to puncture the spinal cord. I believe that many people who are suffering are doing so because they have had an injury to their back or spinal cord. I am one voice trying to share what I have learned. It needs to stop. Money should not be of more value than the future health and quality of life for each individual.

    There is one food that has been changing my life step by step… I have been dealing with a fungus created for the food industry, it has been a nightmare. I am from México and I am not going to tell you the long story.. too long and boring (=D) So I am a healthy woman, exercise my whole life and eath mainly fruits and veggies. Well I was on search for info and I found some facts. Sugar is poison for our bodies and all the carbs because they become in sugars and creates fungus, viruses and bacterias. I am not an expert and I hope that you dont point my mistakes and focus on what I have to say. Eat minerals from veggies, fruits and herbs and mainly organic or grow your own food. Eat all the Super foods Coconut oil, coconut cream or milk (this only food has a lot of magnesium, and many others), spirulina and kelp, nuts, and buy an homeopathy Calcarea Carbonica 30 ch 5 globes at morning and 5 at night and see the magic start to perform. Research as I did and find the truth. And dont you dare to give up. Humanity needs you to do your porpouse. =D

  • Great article, well done. There is another wonder natural pain killer, you may have herad of it. Its called MSM (Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane). It works by taking away all the inflammation in the body. I had chronic pain with osteoarthritis in my knees, thumb joints and neck for over 10 years. I started taking MSM 4 years ago, after one month my pain subsided; after a month I had no pain. I take 1 desertspoon everyday. If I miss a dose I get the pain coming back.     Fluoride in water depletes magnesium from the body. Boiling water does not reduce fluoride, in fact it acts as a binder and absorbs the magnesium in the body.

    I am sorry to hear all of the above contributors with their specific past and present medical problems. I am also thankful for the good advice by some contributors.
    Donna this is for you. I was on Methotrexate a chemo agent, administered by injection once a week for the past 5 years. Throughout that time the inflammation of chronic rheumatoid arthritis was masked, BUT I was a dead man walking. There was no life, no joy no engaging in life. At the start of 2015, I took the advice of a friend who is a nurse. She advised me to drink tumeric water daily for the rest of my life. I started this delightful treatment (it tastes delicious). I no longer take ANY pain killers and I am pain free. I do get the odd pain from overwork as I am 61 years old. My treatment, this is open to anybody because it is beneficial for good health.

    large cup of boiling water first thing in the morning (before anything else)
    juice of one fresh lemon (gets more juice if microwave for 35 seconds)
    1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
    pinch of black pepper
    2 cloves of freshly peeled garlic, chopped or sliced
    1 knob of ginger (approx an inch) skin scraped off, chopped or sliced

    Pour boiling water over all ingredients in cup, stir, let steep for approx 60 seconds. Drink while still hot or warm and enjoy. NO SUGAR, SWEETENER, HONEY.

    Still waiting for some “natural cures for pain” in this article. The author hinted that some vitamins might help in some circumstances but this pseudo-science article was a waste of time to read. If vitamins were found to help in pain management, there would be a multitude of studies supporting this and doctors would be recommending such supplements in lieu of pharmaceuticals .. at least in the country I live in, can’t speak for the US. I won’t be wasting any more time on this silly conspiracy theory website for anti-intellectuals who clearly slept through science classes.

    Or have I missed the point and this site is in fact satire?

      What do you mean there would be a multitude of studies supporting the use of vitamins? There is! “By 1953, there were literally thousands of studies compiled in one textbook alone, THE VITAMINS IN MEDICINE, by Bicknell and Prescott. There are protocols for almost everything imaginable. Then there’s Alan Gaby’s recent book – it’s like a phone directory for illness. Look it up on Amazon. The work is already done; but the word has yet to get out. Want to believe this but can’t?
