Lost in Translation: Astrology Forecast September 20th – 27th, 2020

September 21st, 2020

By Lorna Bevan

Contributing Writer for Wake Up World

This is going to a high stakes week. Mercury entering his retrograde shadow is clashing repeatedly with big hitters Pluto, Saturn and Mars as the Messenger treads the Via Combusta aka the Way of Fire into Pluto’s own sign of Scorpio. With fiery Mars retrograde, communications could quickly descend into verbal warfare as extreme opinions polarise debate. The demands for truth and full disclosure will build and build at the collective level.

On September 22nd the Equinox activates the World Axis as the Sun enters Libra on the Super Galactic Centre. This definitely not a Libra Equinox-lite so don’t expect balance, equality, equilibrium and harmony. No one will be holding hands and singing the Coca cola song! This September 2020 Equinox is going to push every one of your buttons so you become more embodied, more consciously aware of your own personal evolution and what is yours to do right here and right now-not in some mythic, mystic future.

The SGC is a mysterious superstructure of the Universe; not a fixed star, but an incredible whirlpool of cosmic materials. It is the very centre of the known and observable Universe as seen from the Earth. This powerful black hole devours everything in sight and has the mass of 30 trillion Suns, an impossibly large concentration of matter, energy, light, power and healing energy direct from Source and is the greatest channel for soul retrieval of any point in the Universe. This is where you come face to face with yourself.

From Saturday 26th onwards, as Lord of Time and Karma slows to a near standstill ready to turn forward on the 29th, the stationary storm will kick up dust. These are pivotal days to look back over the learnings from February onwards and recognise that the unprecedented events of 2020 have all been for your own growth. Have faith that as you faced Saturn’s karmic lessons with grace, you’ve been shaping and empowering your destiny. And if you had a meltdown or three, that’s okay too.

Saturn stationing Direct is time to check the progress of your process.

The Chandra Symbol for the Super Galactic Centre:

A medicine man allowing himself to be bitten by a snake.

“Being so exposed to the evolutionary edge is exceedingly challenging. Transformation is a constant at all levels. Everything is becoming something else, metamorphosing before your eyes, propelled into the most extreme states imaginable. You feel the greatest anguish and loss, huge elation and bursts of freedom. Finger on the pulse of collective cycles, right on the cutting edge, you are committed to planetary changes personally and pervasively. You absolutely feel the impact of what is going on and what needs to go on. Virtually spun out to infinity by what it all means. Drawn toward the basic and the simple for breath. Destiny obsessed. Rabidly thrown into the midst. You come out the other side either lost and confused and staggered, or ready for anything, courageous, visionary, and an incredible generator of shared possibilities unlimited.” Inside Degrees Elias Lonsdale

Aries Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

You’ll start to feel a shift from September 22nd when the Sun enters your opposite sign of Libra. This will put relationships forefront and centre stage until October 21st.This year, with warrior Mars retrograde in Aries at odds with big hitters Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter, be careful to tread extra carefully to avoid explosions and outbursts you’d later regret. No ultimatums, no burning bridges. Next week on September 29th Task Master Saturn turns forward after 5 months of retrograde, so be alert from September 26th onwards for his stationary dust storm in your zone of career and reputation. You might be considering changing jobs or roles or have a new responsibility given to you. Saturn is all about hierarchies and structures. There are opportunities here to make your mark but remember your watchword is “softly, softly”-no pushing the river.

Start tying up loose ends at work ahead of both Mars and Mercury retrograde in October.

Taurus Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

Last Thursday’s stunning Virgo New Moon was exceptionally supportive of your creative ventures. Hopefully, you are now busy completing a project or have lots of intriguing ideas in the pipeline. As the Sun crosses back into Libra at the Equinox on September 22nd, you’ll get that back to school feeling, so clear your desktop, organise your folders and get in touch with clients and collaborators. Messenger Mercury is already slowing down ahead of his retrograde in October as is Task Master Saturn. Watch the days between September 25th-30th when you might find plans fall apart or something important hits a roadblock. The old is making way for the new, so if something ends, let it go gracefully.

Be at cause, not at effect.

Gemini Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

The last 10 days of September are likely to be confusing, as people change their minds, go back on promises or plans chop and change. With the Sun returning to Libra at Tuesday’s Equinox, you’ll want the freedom to dive into new projects and creative endeavours. Before you invest any money in programmes of study or online seminars, do your research. With Saturn slowing right down to turn forwards on September 29th and in a harsh aspect to Mars, the days around this date will kick up a dust storm. As well, Mercury slows from September 24th ready to turn backwards in October. Instead of keeping on keeping on, factor in some me-time and have some fun doing something pleasurable just for the sake of it.

Stay on your Witness perch.

Cancer Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

There’s a lot to ponder, consider, weigh up and mull over in the last ten days of September, so take all the time you need and refuse to be rushed or pushed into premature decisions. Fortunately, on September 22nd, the Sun returns to Libra at the Equinox and lights up your 4th House of home. Your refuge is even more important to you than usual, so make it as comfortable, beautiful and sustaining as possible. Saturn is slowing right down to turn direct on September 29th and the days from September 25th onwards will kick up a dust storm. This suggests that issues to do with work hierarchies and roles come back around for resolution. Have you been accepting too much responsibility that isn’t yours? Or trying to keep the peace and overriding your own needs? However it plays out, with Mercury also slowing ahead of his October retrograde, tell yourself that it’s all in flux and wait until the dust has settled.

Home sweet home.

Leo Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

The last 10 days of September are likely to be confusing, even chaotic, for just about everyone. Keep this in mind and refuse to be pushed or rushed into any big decisions. Hopefully, last Thursday’s Virgo New Moon brought good news around income- perhaps payment came through for work already done or you managed to sort out your finances and come up with ideas for a side business. On September 22nd, when the Sun returns to Libra at the Equinox, all forms of communication will be highlighted. Weatherproof yourself ahead of October’s planetary storms by updating your technology, your branding and your business. Work plans may unravel or routines collapse from September 25th when Saturn slows to a standstill before turning forward on September 29th at the same time as Mercury enters his retrograde shadow.

Give yourself space and time to respond calmly rather than react.

Virgo Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

Last Thursday’s New Moon in Virgo marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Are you feeling the urge to change your style and appearance in some way to better match your outsides to your insides? The last 10 days of September are likely to be slightly chaotic for just about everyone, so, if plans change at the last minute or you hit a road block, just step back and put it in perspective. Saturn is slowing right down to turn forward on September 29th after 5 months of retrograde and from September 25th, expect something of a dust storm. Wait until after October 4th to start a new creative project.

Seeing which way the wind blows.

Libra Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

The good news is that the Sun returns to Libra at the Equinox on September 22nd and your energy levels start to rise. Mercury is in your sign and this week has close encounters with heavy hitters Pluto, Saturn and Mars. Expect to have some full and frank conversations either close to home or at work. Don’t shy away from speaking your truth- it’s time to clear the air. Lord of Time and Karma Saturn is slowing right down in your 4th House of roots and belonging ready to turn forward on September 29th.Watch for changes in your wider family with some endings and new beginnings as a 28 year chapter comes to a close later this year.

Standing your ground.

Scorpio Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

Last week’s New Moon brought an ending of some sort, probably connected with how you spend your valuable time. If you walked away from an old commitment or a responsibility that was dragging you down, notice how much lighter you feel. Hopefully you haven’t burned any bridges in the process. On September 22 the Sun returns to Libra at the Equinox and deep dives into your 12th House of withdrawal, healing and regeneration. Since Mars is retrograde, Mercury is entering his retrograde shadow and Saturn is slowing to a standstill, don’t push ahead and face burnout -take time for yourself. You’ll be glad you did when plans fall apart between now and October 4th.Just sit back and watch from the side lines.

A time for introspection.

Sagittarius Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

The last 10 days of September are likely to bring hiccups and reversals for just about everyone, so forewarned is forearmed. Last week’s New Moon in your 10th House brings changes on the career front. If a new opportunity looks too good to be true, it probably is. As Task Master Saturn slows to a standstill in your money zone, get serious about your financial position. You can’t build castles in the air without strong foundations. Watch the days between September 25th-30th for a sudden sharp reality check. Trim back your outgoings and prioritise the essentials. Plans are liable to change at the last minute so keep everyone who matters in the loop and stay flexible.

Money, money, money.

Capricorn Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

As the Sun returns to Libra at the Equinox on September 22nd, your focus turns to your reputation and career. If you’re feeling that you deserve more respect or recognition than you’re getting, tread very carefully to avoid alienating others through entitlement. Mars is retrograde, Mercury is entering his retrograde shadow and your personal planet Lord of Time and Karma Saturn is slowing to a standstill. Circle the days between September 25th-30th when it may be crunch time for certain relationships or contracts. Be very careful to avoid misunderstandings, clarify your intentions and get everything in writing and have a watertight back up plan.

If you get into a hole, stop digging.

Aquarius Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

As the Sun crosses into fellow Air sign Libra at the Equinox on September 22nd, you start to feel happier in your own skin. Take some time out to kick back and smell the roses as the world hits a bumpy patch in the last 10 days of the month. Your personal planet Saturn slows to a virtual standstill ready to move forward again on September 29th making a harsh aspect to Mars. This is definitely not a time to issue ultimatums or burn bridges-it could all backfire very quickly. Knowing that life is going to change in a much more positive way for you from December, it’s far better to let life play out rather than trying to push the river.

Living in the moment.

Pisces Weekly Forecast: September 20-27, 2020

Last week’s New Moon was all about your closest relationships and now a decision you’ve been putting off needs to be made. Are you going to commit or walk away? It’s going to be a week of crossed wires and glitches for just about everyone, so do your thinking alone and wait until early October to confirm it. Mars is retrograde, Mercury enters his retrograde shadow and Saturn slows to a standstill before turning forwards on September 29th, so it’s definitely not the time to do anything to burn bridges. If you are challenged at work or in a group you belong to, speak your truth and clear the air, allowing others to do the same.

Refuse to be pressurised into a premature decision.
