In May we are all over lighted by the high Taurean frequency. Taurus is literally plugged in to the enormous light of the seven hotly burning blue-white stars of the Pleiades – the Great Central Sun – acting as a channel or gateway to the source of this tremendous spiritual Centre. The inner journey of Taurus is deeply hidden, mysterious, highly significant and sacred; the esoteric power of its occult ruler Vulcan transforms earth through fire and pressure into something which is pure, clear, and revealing. It illuminates by showing you the nature of Light.

The Buddha’s sign of earthy Taurus symbolises the World 3rd Eye and the pineal gland, the ancestral master cell of untapped DNA. Taurus’ esoteric mantra is: “I see and when the Eye is opened, all is revealed”.  Aries, Taurus, and Capricorn – now all activated by Chiron, Saturn/Pluto and Uranus – are the great transformers under the Creative Plan and act as catalysts. Each of them opens a door into one of the three divine centres of expression which are the symbols in the body of the planetary logos of the three higher centres: the head, the heart and the throat. Taurus, representing the Soul, opens the door into the transpersonal and guards the secret of light and confers illumination upon the initiate/seeker.

We are now caught exactly between reality planets Pluto and Saturn’s stations with Mars out of bounds and out of control. This affects your physicality, your nervous system and your emotions. If you feel wired and tired- inhabit your body as a sanctuary, listen for its signals and this stressful contractive energy will pass through. Then repeat as often as necessary.  Saturn turns retrograde at 20 degrees Capricorn on Sunday April 28 until September 18th, slowing to a station all week between Pluto and the karmic South Node of Fate. The Lord of Time and Karma is hammering home the need for some long overdue reality checks. Ask yourself:

• What are my most important priorities for my life?
• What are my core values and am I living them out every day by walking my talk?
• How well am I maintaining the fabric of my life- my material foundations, my personal security?
• What old roles, beliefs, habits need to be shed so that I can clear my energy field/my own ecology?

 New Moon May 4 at 14° Taurus

This New Moon is a tremendous conduit for bringing down and through into practical manifestation the enormous power for personal evolution from  the triple conjunction of Saturn/ Pluto/South Node of Fate in earth sign Capricorn. Uranus at 3 degrees Taurus is aligned with hierophant Jupiter, now retrograde, catalysing sudden insights and a view of the big picture along with a dawning realisation that you have the agency to leverage this power, instead of being swept along by it.

The Question to ask yourself is:

  “if everything is up for grabs and nothing is a given, what would I want to create in the world/for the world and how would I go about creating it?”

Time to press the pause button and look at where you really are as opposed to where you hoped you would be. With the two hard edged extreme reality planets at the pinnacle of your chart slowing down together to turn backwards for 5 months and at odds with Venus and Mercury in Aries, push has come to shove, chickens have come home to roost. Events connected to your job or career may not turn out as planned. Instead of dwelling on your disappointment, ask yourself some challenging questions such as “Is my ladder against the wrong wall?” Saturn and Pluto together have the energy to move mountains, so channel it, then use it as fuel for a new stage of your journey.

Out of all the signs, you have the greatest leverage. First, Taurus is an Earth sign, totally compatible with Capricorn where change agents Saturn and Pluto are turning retrograde. Both signs are ultra-determined, laser focused and brilliant at pulling ideas from the ethers and then turning them into accessible reality. Second, your personal New Year begins on Sunday 4^th with a stunning New Moon in Taurus. The potential for growth, creativity and surprising yourself with what you can achieve is off the scales, fuelled by the enormous power of the Awakener, the Eliminator and the Lord of Time and Karma. And it sets off an entire year of rewards and harvest for all the efforts you invested in following the beat of your own drum.

Gemini Weekly Forecast: Apr 28 – May 4, 2019

At a time when your batteries are already low, don’t be surprised if you meet with some heavy duty resistance to your plans this week. Mars in your own sign is now way out of bounds-out of control- and at odds with slippery Neptune. At the same time, your personal planet Mercury is battling with take-no-prisoners Saturn and Pluto, both at their most powerful as they turn retrograde and approaching an explosive encounter with unpredictable Uranus.  On Sunday the Taurus New Moon lights up the deepest, most hidden part of your chart, reminding you to retreat, create sanctuary and put your physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing before anything else.

Cancer Weekly Forecast: Apr 28 – May 4, 2019

Something unusual is happening across the sky from your sign- both heavy hitters Saturn and Pluto are slowing to turn backwards at their most powerful at the same time. Add to the mix Venus and Mercury in your career zone at odds with these change agents and you have the potential for power struggles, stand offs or ultimatums. The ball is not in your court, so if someone refuses a request or blocks a project, take a step back. There are bigger forces at work here which will take until next January to play themselves out. See this reality check as an opportunity to revisit a decision you made a few months ago and do a course correction.

No one is going to have an easy ride of it this week, so whatever happens or, more likely, doesn’t happen, refuse to take it personally. As both Saturn and Pluto slow right down to turn retrograde, consequences from past actions will come back. Not to bite you but to ask you to look squarely at how your life is going and then to take practical steps to bridge the gap between what you are here for and what you do day in day out. Sunday’s New Moon at the peak of your chart opens doors to a much needed, long overdue course correction in your career or service. But first, tie up loose end and completions.

It’s not a week to sugar coat what’s happening – as a Libra, your sign is experiencing the full impact of relentless transformation. Mercury and Venus in your angle of partnerships-personal and professional-are at odds with heavy hitters Saturn and Pluto, both slowing to turn retrograde for several months. Expect to experience power plays, ultimatums or outright opposition in your family and career dynamics. Your best approach is to frame it all as a reality check, to go back to basics and identify weaknesses or cross communication and then mend fences. Difficult as it is when you’re feeling misunderstood and under pressure, don’t take it personally.
