This week’s energy flow can best be described as turbulent, wild, edgy, febrile, volatile and unpredictable.

Starting with the Mars/Uranus/Algol conjunction at 26 Taurus exact on July 15th, the Sun square Disruptor Eris on July 17th and culminating under a Full Blue Moon at 29 Capricorn conjunct the Great Eliminator Pluto on July 21st, the stakes have rarely been higher or the power brokering more blatant.
Witness this playing out in Gaza, in the recent Russian bombing of a Ukrainian children’s cancer hospital, the the deepening of the India/China/Russia/North Korea axis, revolution in the streets in France as well as record wildfires and temperatures.
On a personal level, we’re all more accident prone now (as I found out on Friday when soap chemicals tore the pupil in my right eye-thanks to Mars/Uranus exactly conjunct my natal Sun/Mars on Algol)
- be extra vigilant around fire, driving and metal objects.
- stay out of dramas where others are overreacting or threatening violence
- be ready for a surge of intense, laser-focused energy and ambition as this plutonic Full Moon fuels your desire to move forward, to make a tangible difference
- strip away anything inessential, show up and refuse to feel powerless
Don’t take events personally. Know that this energy is just life, lifeing. Just another metaphorical stretch of white water in an unending repeating cycle of whirlpools, eddies, turbulence, flow, waterfalls, floods and dried up water tables…
Give up the struggle….
We see ourselves as permanent and stable. All our energy goes into trying to protect our supposed separateness by setting up and hanging on to artificial boundaries. But the magic can only come by letting go of clinging to the river bank and letting the Tao take you down the flow of life…
Rather than resisting these whitewater waves, ask yourself: “What is this event, this change, this course adjustment trying to awaken in me? What psychological log jam needs to be shaken free?”
