Live It, Own It, Mean It: Astrology Forecast May 14th – 21st, 2023

May 15th, 2023

Contributing Writer for Wake Up World

If you’ve been feeing scattered, lost, without an anchor or a purpose recently, take heart – the planets are moving on. On Monday, Mercury turns forward in Taurus and clarity gradually returns. Start tying up loose ends, finishing projects and resolving outstanding issues.

On Tuesday May 16th, gas giant Jupiter enters Taurus for the first time since 2011 to stay until May 2024. Less than 24 hours later the Great Expansionist squares Pluto in Aquarius, Mars in Leo and conjuncts the Node of Fate in Taurus. Every sign will notice this ground-shaking shift. Jupiter is often described as bringing luck but luck is created when you’re willing to take risks, follow your hunches and take every opportunity to expand your world.

A stunningly auspicious New Moon on the 29 Master Degree of the Buddha’s sign of Taurus in the Pleaides has the potential to awaken your chakras. Taurus symbolises the World 3rd Eye and the pineal gland, the ancestral master cell of untapped DNA. It is plugged in to the enormous light of the seven hotly burning blue-white stars of the Pleiades – the central Sun – acting as a channel or gateway to the light of this tremendous centre.

This New Moon is especially lucky financially if you have personal planets and points at 24-30 degrees of the Fixed signs – Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius – and 0-2 degrees of the Mutable signs – Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.

Conjunct Resurrection archetype Sedna, the New Moon forms a harmonious triangle with Pluto in Aquarius, Neptune in Pisces and Mars in Cancer. Sedna combines heredity, evolutionary change and spiritual development into the soul’s path of destiny.

The message is clear: it’s time to commit to embodying and embedding in everyday life the future you want to create.

  • choices have to be made and stances taken
  • actions matter more than intentions
  • deliver more than you promise
  • be impeccable with your word, transparent and honest
  • don’t be a consumer who never evolves into a creator

Chandra Symbol New Moon Taurus 28:

A man making candles out of beeswax.

“The sweetness is in the returning to those sacred places always known and now being at ease there. Stripping away false layers and finding somebody underneath who is poignantly familiar and resonantly true. The search, the quest, the process. The intricate, extended process. For everything depends upon entering the process and giving yourself over to the Creator Beings. You are simply a seed blown by the wind.”

Aries Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

The Taurus cluster plus the arrival of Jupiter is sending you a very clear message: your finances are up for regeneration. Taurus is your 2nd House of income and resources-what you earn, what you own and your skills and talents. Jupiter expands whatever he touches-good or bad, so do an audit on your sources of income and aim to generate personal security through diversifying. Relying solely on one client or employer is not a good strategy in these volatile financial times.

What do you know, what could you turn into added value for others?

Taurus Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

Make your mantra: luck is when opportunity meets commitment. Jupiter’s return to Taurus is a once in 12 years opportunity to grow, evolve and regenerate on all levels. It’s time to expand your mind, your self-belief, your work, your horizons and your income. With Pluto at the pinnacle of your chart, dig deep to find your power source-your essential self. Now’s the time to use all your superpowers of commitment, transparency and emotional intelligence, to find your voice and make a difference.

A gate swings open.

Gemini Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

Much is changing in your world internally as a cluster of planets- Jupiter, Node of Fate, Mercury, Sun and Uranus-gather in your 12th House. You need to feel safe, protected, hidden from the world for a while, to retreat into your sanctuary and gather yourself. Be careful when you do go out and about not to share all your beliefs and ideas with too many people. Create strong boundaries, as only a few will understand your intent.

Saturn in your 10th House is a reminder that being a 21st century hermit is one of the most healing ways to rebalance.

Cancer Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

Although you may not see yourself in this way, you are a resource holder and a font of support and encouragement for others around you. Sourcing your “doing” from the deep ground of your being, so that you do what is yours to do in a way that energises you and inspires others. It’s important now, as Jupiter enters earthy Taurus- your angle of groups, networks and friends- to be self-compassionate, finding a deeper sense of sufficiency and kindness toward yourself that gives you the ability to be there for others.

Connect more fully with your purpose so that you can stand in your own true authority attracting people and circumstances that are a better match for you and your potential.

Leo Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

A cluster of planets in Taurus -Jupiter, Node of Fate, Mercury, Sun and Uranus- is putting your career and reputation in the spotlight. As Mercury stations to turn direct on May 14th, channel this earth energy by taking things slowly and getting really clear on your goals. The Taurus New Moon on May 19th is a signal to put down some markers and with Mars returning to your sign after a 2 years absence, you’ll be impatient for results. Be careful not to make any hard and fast commitments, as challenging aspects between Pluto newly arrived in your relationship zone and Jupiter and Mars could make you take risks you could later regret.

The map is not the territory.

Virgo Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

The cluster of planets in fellow Earth sign Taurus is compatible with your Virgoan need for structure, focus and practicality. Even better, on Monday 15th your own planet Mercury turns forward again and, on the 16th, Jupiter returns to Taurus to stay until May 2024.The expansionist is going to show you that the world is bigger than you can imagine and full of exciting possibilities. If you’ve been thinking about parlaying your experience, skills and wisdom into some form of teaching, coaching or broadcasting, now’s the time to make some plans.

Saturn in Pisces is nudging you towards making some new commitments.

Libra Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

With so much planetary activity in your 8th House-Node of Fate, Mercury, Sun and Uranus and now Jupiter on May 16th-you’re likely to be dealing with ongoing issues that have never been fully resolved. Finances, long term partnerships, taxes, debts, inheritance and ancestry are all in the mix. No matter how it plays out for you, take it step by step, waiting until after Mercury has turned forward on May 14th and the Taurus New Moon on May 19th before committing to any big decisions.

Get the basics sorted so Jupiter can work his magic in the coming year.

Scorpio Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

Ongoing transformation is written all over your solar chart. With Great Eliminator Pluto crisscrossing the base of your chart-home, roots, tribe-, a cluster of planets in your 7th House and Mars crossing your Mid Heaven, you are being insistently nudged by circumstances around you to change longstanding arrangements at home, at work and in your closest partnerships. Both Mars and Pluto -rulers of Scorpio-are at odds with each other and also with Jupiter challenging you to pace yourself and keep your cool.

A new future is summoning you.

Sagittarius Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

With so many planets gathered in your 6th House, work-as in the daily-grind- is forefront and centre stage. Not only are you busy juggling people, projects and constantly moving goalposts, but you’re beginning to suspect that an entirely new path is beckoning you. Take heart! You’ll soon get greater clarity as Mercury moves forward on May 15th and greater motivation to investigate exciting new avenues after May 16th when Jupiter lights up Taurus.

Meanwhile, make your wellbeing your main priority.

Capricorn Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

As a cardinal sign ruled by taskmaster Saturn, it’s sometimes hard for you to raise your nose from the grindstone and stop and smell the roses. Fortunately, that’s exactly what the gathering of planets in Taurus is nudging you to do. On May 16th, Jupiter returns to Taurus for the first time since 2011 to join the Node of Fate, Mercury, Sun and Awakener Uranus in your 5th House of self-expression. Ask yourself what gives you the most pleasure and start doing more of it. Throw a spanner in the works of constant busyness and revive an old passion, create a garden, play with children.

Enjoy more of whatever makes your life worth living.

Aquarius Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

As the winds of change start to blow more strongly through your life, courtesy of transformer Pluto crossing and re-crossing the cusp of Aquarius, the gathering of planets at the base of your chart in Taurus is providing a welcome antidote to stress and anxiety. Make where you live a place of peace, safety and beauty- a sanctuary from the world outside the front door. This will be simpler than it seems as Jupiter returns to Taurus on May 16th to stay for an entire year, boosting your resources and your desire to make your world a happier place.

Home really is where the heart is.

Pisces Weekly Forecast: May 14-21, 2023

Saturn in your sign until 2026 is a call to commit to your purpose and do everything at 100%. Once you do, doors to much greater recognition will open where there were none before. No matter what your field of work is, you’ll find yourself wanting to put your experience, skills and knowledge to good use for humanity. The gathering of planets in Taurus your 3rd House and Jupiter’s arrival there on May 16th, gives you the leverage, opportunity and resources to expand your communication networks and platforms in ways you’d never thought of.

A new direction calls.
