A Very Thin Place

Last Friday March 14 a Total Lunar eclipse across Virgo/Pisces brought endings to that part of your chart and on March 28, a Solar eclipse in Aries brings new beginnings in Aries.

Eclipses always arrive in pairs, spaced two weeks apart, kicking off an accelerated period of change -aka an eclipse tunnel, the liminal space between the first and second eclipse where fate steps in and the universe fast-tracks transformation.

This current eclipse tunnel is especially significant as it centres around the sensitive 0 Aries Point– the World axis of global change-which is being activated and reactivated throughout 2025 and 2026 by the inner planets, by Neptune then Saturn -the midpoint between Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in late Taurus/Gemini.

This week, with Mercury retrograde in full Trickster guise, the Sun conjuncts Neptune, enters Aries at the Zero Point Aries Equinox then conjuncts retrograde Venus:

  • tread carefully until the eclipse dust settles in April and Venus turns direct
  • keep in mind that you don’t have the whole picture- eclipses conceal, they never reveal until all the dominoes have fallen
  • be aware that everyone is extra sensitive and emotions are running high
  • expect situations to rapidly shift around you and drop linear plans
  • let things unfold, unfurl, with trust, without the urgency of seeking to control how it all goes

In this thinnest of thin places, these edge lands where multiple versions of reality merge and blur, be present in the life you have, not the life of a story you told yourself, or worse, that someone else told you.

“You become ready and quite able to do what is asked or needed and to put nothing in the way of each next thing happening, right on schedule. You actually become a vessel for strong Earth usage. It is a form of penance or probation for past excesses, now gravitating toward the straight and narrow and trying to get certain things straight for a brand -new start. It is the initial phase, the radically new cycle taken up with a passion, with an omnivorous appetite for things to do, problems to solve, worlds to streamline. Tremendous for activating will; intended for nothing else.”

Aries Weekly Forecast

ICurrently both Venus and Mercury are retrograde in Aries, suggesting that that something close to your heart needs to be reworked, renegotiated or that it’s time to end one particular relationship. With eclipses changing circumstances around you, be ready for things to shift back and forth and back again between now and mid-April.

Taurus Weekly Forecast

The current Venus retrograde is affecting Taurus much more than most as Venus is your personal planet. If you feel the need to withdraw from activities, to rest more, to simplify demands on your time and allow the empty well to refill in its own time, frame it as a necessity, not a luxury. Take heart, from March 20th at the Aries Equinox, the Sun conjuncts Venus and light begins to return.

Gemini Weekly Forecast

With both Mercury and Venus retrograde in the midst of 2 wild card eclipses, March is one of the trickiest months of 2025, when much is hidden. As a solar Gemini, expect your friendships, groups and networks to shift like the tide, along with a role or career. Final endings will be on the cards around the second eclipse on March 29th.

Cancer Weekly Forecast

Your sign is in the thick of change this year, as 0 Aries is activated then reactivated by the inner planets, eclipses and Neptune and Saturn. This is the pinnacle of your chart-your career or life direction angle- where you can expect a complete overhaul in coming months. With Mars still in your sign, get a head start on exploring possibilities, rather than sitting back at the mercy of shifting sands or other people’s whims.

Leo Weekly Forecast

For you, last Friday’s eclipse was all about money-how you attract it, how you spend it, save it, waste it or share it. We’re still in the volatile eclipse tunnel leading to a solar eclipse on March 29th, so it’s not over until it’s over. With both Venus and Mercury retrograde, watch your expenses like a hawk, check your cyber security and don’t make any big investments until April.

Virgo Weekly Forecast

Are you feeling the floorboards shifting under your feet yet? Last Friday’s doozy of an eclipse in your sign suggests an ending in at least one of your closest relationships. With both Venus and your own planet Mercury retrograde, there may be power struggles or back and forth renegotiation before your options become obvious. Get really clear on what is negotiable and non-negotiable.

Libra Weekly Forecast

The back and forth of Venus and Mercury retrograde over the Aries Point along with two wild card eclipses either side of it, is shining an uncomfortable spotlight on your relationships. Now that your personal planet Venus is retrograde until April 12th, should you feel the need to withdraw from activities, to rest more, to simplify demands on your time and allow the empty well to refill in its own time, frame it as a necessity, not a luxury.

Scorpio Weekly Forecast

If you’ve been suppressing or abandoning your creative side in recent times, last Friday’s lunar eclipse is a nudge to revisit pastimes, hobbies or passions from your earlier life that got left by the roadside. Venus and Mercury are retrograding back into this part of your chart, so, no matter what is happening around you, take yourself off on some private artist dates a la Julia Cameron and rediscover your wellspring of inspiration.

Sagittarius Weekly Forecast

Your home and your career are both in the thick of it now. The recent eclipse across Virgo and Pisces still has a surprise in store concerning big changes at work or in connection with parents or authority figures. Perhaps someone has left, opening an opportunity for you to walk into. Keep in mind that we are now in a volatile eclipse corridor and be ready to act at a moment’s notice.

Capricorn Weekly Forecast

Currently, we’re in an unpredictable eclipse tunnel when just about everyone needs to cut themselves some slack. Given that the coming solar eclipse on March 29th will bring changes to your home, family and tribe, and that both Venus and Mercury are retrograde, tread softly. Whether you’re completing a renovation, planning a relocation or someone is leaving home, factor in delays, glitches and compromises.

Aquarius Weekly Forecast

With Pluto now in Aquarius for the long haul, you’re already in a process of transformation even before these wild card March eclipses. Last Friday’s eclipse has still to deliver news about your finances. Whether it turns out to be an unexpected tax bill or a surprise windfall, keep a tight rein on expenditure now, as both Venus and Mercury are retrograde.

Pisces Weekly Forecast

What a birthday month it’s turned out to be! Last Friday’s eclipse across your own and opposite sign is setting off a chain of partnership dominoes that will create waves in your personal life. Meanwhile Venus and Mercury are both retrograde in your money angle, so make sure you call in what’s owed to you, cut back on expenditure and step up your cybersecurity.
