We’ve come so far from living off the land in small communities. So far removed! Days have long since passed where we consumed that which is natural and locally available. People used to take only that which was needed whilst returning our ‘waste’ to the earth as a natural flow.

In the western world, most of us seem to have a comfortable life, with  time-saving appliances, gadgets and technology,  shelter and  basic human rights. The industrial revolution and the more recent opportunity for cheap oil has changed so much! We have seen an exponential boom in consumer goods and products – mostly imported from the east, where people are not afforded the same human rights that are usual in the west.

Where one person takes more than they are naturally entitled to, someone else has to suffer. It’s the law of cause and effect. It’s the universe balancing itself back out again.

So whilst we live in apparent luxury, who suffers?

If we stop and pause for just a second, it’s really clear that something isn’t right. In the west, we are shielded from the truth. Worse still, most people don’t actually want to see the truth; because what does that then mean? I know most people will pass this by. It’s just a step too far.

Here is a short documentary video that looks at who really pays the price for our electronic goods. This is just one drop in a huge ocean.

Watch it and observe how it makes you feel… and then contemplate how it might encourage you to do something differently or to make a change.

This is such a powerful video on many counts. It’s so important that we appreciate the real nature of society and what’s going on behind the scenes in order to keep the consumer ‘gravy train’ rolling.  These neat, sanitised packages show up in the department store at ridiculously low prices. And  here’s the reason they’re so cheap…

We exploit cheap oil to provide the resources and to transport the products ridiculous distances. And we exploit desperate people, caught in the illusionary ‘dream’, eager to be a part of our  ‘civilised’ society. Yet it is far from civil.

This is just another example of why  The Great Realignment  needs to happen, and will happen.

It is good to try to fix such injustices as this – to get rid of carcinogenic and harmful substances from  the supply chain that are used only because they’re cheap. But at the same time, we must really look in the mirror and examine the situation being reflected to us. Until we have a  total realignment of life  –  an evolution of humanity into the next form of existence, Divinicus  – we’ll only ever be plugging holes in the dyke.

It’s time to  transcend  this crazy system we’re living in.
